I am not able to understand how to do with th 4th picture in the sketchbook. The game makes me click without getting any impact on result and reveals only a few parts of picture... What is expected to do futher exepting this stupid clicking?

GhostFaceGuy, the author offers an unusual approach to game mechanics. We all used to templates. And all of us annoying when these patterns are broken. It's hard for us to have to think, we used to operate automatically. Is this the fault author? No, he has his own understanding and vision of the game. Interesting story in the best Japanese hentai, the category "Mother-son". Literate lyrics. Complex mechanics and thought-provoking. In General, the project is non-trivial.

i really like this game but for a game that based around reading the text, idk why they made the text harder and tiresome for people eye to read.
bright and vibrant nature of the game combined with transparent dialogue box and white, small, thin font, and a long dialogue perscene; oh god my eyes can't deal with it after a few hours.

I've just played this game, just now. Wow! I'm sorry I put it off this long.

I think everything about is is great. The writing is really good, and takes things in slightly different directions to what I'm expecting. It's pretty great to be surprised like that. And, whoever does do the English translation makes a good job of it.

I've seen that there's a lot of variables in play, and a lot of choices to be made when playing. Since I'm not intending to look at any walkthrough, and I don't wanna play through all this and that choice, I want to suggest there be a gallery implemented that we can see if and when we miss scenes. It'd be persistent, so you could go this way one time, and choose different choices the next, and that way get the complete gallery. I think that's probably the fairest way to go about it, if all the decision variables are going to be staying hidden from the player.

Oh, and if that IC patch could come with a gallery addition that included those scenes, that would be good, if that goes ahead.

I don't think there's anything else to comment on. I did notice some grammar mistakes, but they were really minor and didn't take note of them. Or not of them all. I could mention one to two, if the author wants to do a search/replace for them.

- One time What is written "Waht".
- One time Sheryl is written like "Cheryl".

There were other mistakes, but I'd have to play it again to be reminded of them.

Anyway, I really like the artistic vision this game has. The art/photography aspect. It surprised me that the MC wasn't talented with his art, and that there's something shady going on with how he earns his money. But, it's intriguing too.

I like the look of the mom. Her face. Her body. And she obviously ages well. I'd be interested to learn what she's been up to when they've been separated. I'm sure this will be what the story is about: what caused it, and if they can get over what happened back then.

As for the other characters... not as interesting as the mom is. Still interesting, but I'm glad so much attention is given over to her and her son's story. Their background, and perhaps their future.

I'm sure to keep a track of this one. So, good work, ttll.

Oh, I see. Umm, you've somehow messed up applying the incest patch. Somehow. I'm not sure how you could have, but maybe you played with it once, took it out, and it's still thinking you have it?

What you might need to do is delete the persistent file, both of them. One in the game folder, and one... in the users set of folders. You probably know where the backups are kept, right? If not, you can google it, since it's a common question (of where renpy keeps its saves).

Anyway, I played through the game again, and I think I only got half the story last time, so it was quite rewarding to go through it again.

Firstly, I thought you could only do one sketchbook picture at one time, not two. I didn't think to check if you needed to go left to right, I just assumed you'd complete a "page" (so top and bottom), before moving to the next. But, that's not how it works. You go across. So, you get to do two each turn you're allowed to unlock them.

In my first play, I only did four, not bothering to even check the second page. So, I didn't get to see the mom's reactions towards the end of the episode.

But, the sketchbook scenes add quite a bit to the story, and I'm glad I got them all. It's quite the tale. And, I'm not sure how widely known this is, since it's something I only spotted on my second playthrough.

It's such an interesting story. It takes a lot of chance to get the most interesting scenes, and I think there's still a lot of things for me to do, if I wanna get everything. I looked a the. I followed the variables. Quite intricate, as a lot of people have already said in this thread. That's not a bad thing. But, probably most users will need to follow some kind of walkthrough, just to get to scenes they might be interested in. There's a lot of chance, if not doing that.

I think I'm going to play again, since I learned some things when I was plaything through. It's too early to know what kind of results will come from some of the actions. Being romantic with your sister. Being cruel to her, and all the stuff that's been said about the mom wanting the MC to be a gentleman with girls. Well, not strictly so. But, I wonder if she won't object to objectification of the MC's sister. So, maybe a few saves are needed. Good/bad MC, various saves to get this or that girl. Might take a bit to get all one wants from this game. But, I think it's definitely worth it. I really do like where this is headed, so I hope it all goes well for the dev. It's really good.

Well said ... tho it's still too early to judge the quality of the plot or what direction the game will take IMO. The MC is CLEARLY pissed at the mom for abandoning him (??) and some other reasons (perhaps she married some douche, wouldn't really be surprised if she was fucking some assholes during her "business trips" for G's). But that wouldn't look good on the game, anti-NTR bois would not be cool with that and that dev would lose money. We just have to wait for the next update (full 0.2 maybe) to see her side of the story and how events unfold slowly ... it's kinda shitty that it will take some time to see the whole picture, but it's also good to know the game keeps arousing the player's curiosity and lets him with lots of WTF's.

Lora's character is undoubtedly ttll piece de resistance and one of the hottest MILF's ever in porn games, so letting her go to waste would be a big disappointment. I'm interested in character development too, he got lots of developing to do here starting with the shady MC. The dom/romance routes with Lindsey are probably the choices that begin to shape MC's personality, you can see him reacting differently to Lora depending on how he treats his sister ... gentleman or retarded asshole (Lora is displeased seeing the horny cougar or Lindsey as wallpaper on his phone, but is glad to see her pic, future RP points ??)

That's still his first project and his rendering rig is not powerful enough to get the job done quickly or to at least handle that 2080ti monster, so no judging from me till at least 0.6-0.8 when we get some piece of action and some answers about the plot but considering how smoking hot those ladies are I'd say it's worth the wait.

You make some good points. I didn't even realize you get a wallpaper from that optional milf you can play with. It was just when you mentioned it, that I had a look and saw it there. I probably won't use it, but it's good to know. I also like all the play involving silent mode on the phone. There's a few events that only trigger if the sound is either turned off or left on. I like that you have to juggle it to get all the scenes.

As for the NTR stuff, in the worst case, maybe it could be treated like the incest stuff is. Meaning, there's separate patch you download if you want to see the true story. Or a depiction of it. There's already a gate to allow/disallow NTR, which is good. I think there's already enough hints to point at where the story is going.

If you don't unlock the sister's slave route, things with her can be pretty normal. A normal date-type relationship. But, if you do unlock it, you get a glimpse of the other side. And, it's just as filled out as everything else. Meaning ttll is pretty interested in that stuff. And, I have to admit, it is pretty interesting.

The dad seems to be a douche, from all the stories we have of him. I wouldn't mind if we never cross paths with him. Him and the grandma. Sheryl might lead the MC to them, actually. But, maybe they can just be left offscreen, since you know, they do seem like douches. But, having said that, if there is a way to win Sheryl over, stealing her away from the grandma to join the harem, I'd really be into that. Just to mess that grandma up a bit.

It was pretty harsh, the way the dad treated Lora in the end, this revealed by the crying sketchbook scene.

I'm not sure if Lora's going to be all that proud of how the MC got his dirty money. But, if it turns out she's just as dirty, then it might all work out for them. I think she'd probably have tremendous guilt over what's happened. So, she doesn't stay long, since she doesn't actually know what she can admit to and what to keep secret. Even Lindsey didn't know much about the mom, so she's done a good job of keeping it all secret. I have no doubt she's some kind of escort, as you say. But, I think that might be in her past: Taylor (the neighbor) introducing the mom into that profession because there was nothing else for her.

I found it interesting that Anna (the childhood playmate) could be introduced into that too, since that's what the mom wondered about in that last talk they had. She'd be around the same age as the MC, so I wouldn't mind him meeting her at some point. And her mom too, maybe. I think if the story does go that way, there'll be paths you can take to unlock more and more of the story. It's just like the sister's arc: you only reveal the truth about her circumstance if you take a specific route with her. One gate after another, after another, until you get there. It might be the same with mom and her actual story. I wouldn't mind such a mechanic at all, since it presents the story, but also doesn't shove it in your face either. Just like Lindsey, things could stay on the surface and all the stuff the mom got up to back when they separated might remain hidden. Or, revealed, depending on actions taken.

Oh, but I think it's interesting that the MC's not as clean as he could be. The more dirt he carries, maybe the better it is for a reconciliation between them. But, as you say, it's still too early to really know what might be coming next. I do like what's there though. It's still a fairly small game, but it's really growing on me. The artistry, the story. I like it all.

I was able to verify that the patch was in fact, I can delete the one in the game folder, but the other one does not know where Renpy saves the saved

You have to navigate to that to be able to delete the saves. Or the persistent file. But, what's important is the CI-*number*. The number on your system might be different, I'm not sure. Just look for CI in there.

Edit: actually another cause for the errors you're getting might be because you need to install the 0.2 version of the patch. You probably downloaded the game, at v0.2. But didn't get the patch for v0.2, so this might be leading you to these errors.

So, you can either reinstall the patch to get rid of the errors, or delete the saves and start fresh, without using the patch. That's if you're still having problems with this.

In other news, has anyone pieced together the general sequence of the sketchbook scenes? Say we take them 1 - 2 along the top, and 3 - 4 along the bottom of the first page, and then for the second page, 5 - 6 and 7 - 8, I came up with something maybe correct, but maybe a bit wrong. Wanna compare?

My sequence is: 5 - 2 - 4 - 1 - 3 - 7 - 6 - 8

My reasoning is:
5 is when they first get to the apartment.
2 is when he complains about the time it took her to get shorts.
4 is when she gives him the deal on the broccoli for a week.
1 is when they talk about the broccoli and the trip to the beach.
3 is them at the beach.
7 is them in the bath. I'm not sure this fits here but where else?
6 is when she's having trouble finding work and getting depressed.
8 is when she cries about their situation.

I'm not sure which would come first 6 or 8, so those could be reversed for all I know. The rest is mostly a guess. I'm not sure where the bathtub scene might fall, so I just stuffed it in where it might fit...

It's a pity that Lora couldn't find a career doing photography. Rejection after rejection, until she just had to give it up. Like, it was a hobby for her, and she tried to use it to reclaim her life, away from the grandma and her too-controlling husband (the grandma's son). But, it doesn't seem like it worked out for her. Or worked out how she'd imagined it would when she escaped from that situation.

I'd really like it if we get to see her holding a camera again. Perhaps she does, anyway. Perhaps she's gotten back into that kind of thing later in life. But if not, then I'd really like the MC to encourage her back into it. Since they're both artists, her photography, him painting, maybe just being around him again will bring her back to her hobby again. Or, maybe she gets an opportunity to turn it commercial. I just think it'd be interesting if we get to see her take up photography again, in some capacity.

I was thinking about this last night. It's not something crucial to the story. It's just a pity she had to give up her dream to do something with her love of photography.
