Writing is top-notch and doesn't feel like the usual of the writer milking the game.
Usually, I'd bitch and say shit content if nothing was explicit, but this is actually patrician taste right here.

She's a goddess... I can't find a better word... It's no wonder that outline, those contours are engraved in the MC's mind.
It sounds weird when I say it, but usually, when we say the words "mother" and "hot", they don't go well together... Or you end up imagining a "MILF", which I think is something else entirely. The dev somehow managed to make her a hot chick while keeping a motherly touch to her appearance and character.
I mean look at that smile -
that certainly does looks like a mother who just caught her child peeping on her - like she's amused by his shenanigans. Certainly isn't a seductive smile.
And the scene that follows...
How does it make me feel? I want to say "disgusted/sick" but somehow a part of me finds it somewhat "beautiful"??! A "normal" person can very clearly see that she's crossing the line here, but maybe Lora doesn't feel the same?? Maybe, in her mind, it's just another way of showing her love to her son, and there's nothing wrong about going that far! It's between her and her son, she doesn't care what other people define as "normal".
So, again, how does it make me feel? Sick, disgusted, shocked, amazed, excited, mesmerized and of course totally weirded-out - not just any one of them... all of them at the same time! Or maybe, "confused" would be a better word.
Thanks to the dev for making me feel "confused".
[NB: Okay I left out "horny" from that list of emotions because I was trying not to write something that would sound so vulgar, but yeah, that too... THAT TOO....]

The artwork is amazing, and I mean artwork, not (just) that girl is hot, this scene is hot. The colors, the contrast, the mix of photorealistic-ish and watercolor-ish blew me away! Reminds me a bit (I said bit) the short The Witness from Love, Death + Robots.
The story... well.
I feel suffocated going through that skectchbook, like a prey being steadly driven into a corner by a hopelessly stronger and cleverer predator; not so strongly, but Lindsey's arc also makes me very unconfortable on both routes, for different reasons.
If that's what the dev set out to do, I say "good job!" without a hint of sarcasm. Not every story is meant to make its audience feel good, just not bored.
Not sure if I have the stomach to go on or the willpower to leave it alone. So very conflicted...

Exactly! I think the purpose of art/literature is to expose the full spectrum of emotions to the audience. Not just a feeling of "goodness"/"comfort". A work of art/literature is supposed to explore the complexities and the intricacies of human emotions.

Well, on this forum, most people want the art to be according to their tastes, and they play the games to find a safe space in them (hence the constant arguing about what's ntr and what is too far).
I don't know if I hate that Lora is (at least at the moment) a borderline pedo, but if she keeps at it like this, it's not as bad as actual intercourse. I mean, the kid at the age he is portrait as, could never understand the meaning of what she does, and as of now, she doesn't really understand it either. Maybe if he was at an age where he would at least understand what is happening, that would have maybe been different.

As I said, a part of me is totally disgusted by what is happening, and I certainly don't condone anything like this ... I don't need to, to play this game. I've killed dozens of civilians and cops in GTA for money, or simply for fun. That doesn't make me a murderer.
George R. R. Martin came up with something unthinkable - a father (Craster) rapes her daughters, and gets more daughters in the process and rapes them too. And I think half of the world had fun watching such a show. Does that mean, all of them condone that? No... Jaime Lannister has sex with her sister, and many viewers/readers admire him.
And pedophilia is nothing new in art/literature... You could have a look at "Lolita" by Vladimir Nabokov - which basically shows a crooked and disturbing story involving a 12 y.o. girl from a pedophile's perspective - and yet it's considered one of the best novels in English literature.
Now, the only difference is that adult game is a graphic/visual media. So, should we apply different rules to it? That's an open-ended question.

Yup, but there's more to it than just the boy. MC is an adult in the present but has flashbacks of different stages when he was younger with his mom and it's heavily implied some sexual things happened. The flashbacks are an integral part of the story so if you want to understand it you must play as the boy. This is just the prologue so we don't know how much of the game we will play as the minor MC. I personally think the majority of the game will take place in the present.So let me get this straight: That boy is the MC in this game???
