There are so many rushed mediocre games on this platform we don't want this game to be one of them so please have some patience. Surely a delayed game is better than a rushed game that isn't as good.

Well, this last year, I'm finding more and more high quality in this site. Maybe not all as good in all the categories like this one, but definitely the overall level has exponentially raised.

In terms of good games it's not true. In 2018 we had Big Brother and Milfy City. Then they died and we had Come Inside and Areas of GRAY in 2019. And Come Inside isn't even releasing, Areas of GRAY has mostly imaginary sex in the latest updates. But in 2018 BB was releasing every month, MC was great, released every several months, and had big amount of content. So maybe in terms of mediocre games it is true, there are some new half-decent ones, but who cares about them? And there's no porn in porn games now! There used to be porn, now there isn't, zero, none!
So the situation has severely deteriorated. There's just more and more shit. Old developers are making new shit, new developers are making text novels with shitty useless pictures on background or tech demos with shitty generic text to boost their milking machines, no one is making games now, there are only money makers.

You forget one thing though; there's a difference between a porn game and a story central VN. In example Holiday Island is a porn game, it doesn't pretend to be anything else. But then we have a game like Summer's Gone where the focus is on the story. City of Broken Dreamers manages to balance those two things very well though, as did Depraved Awakening.
These days more and more people are starting to lean more toward games that have an engaging story, than just a simple fap game.

Well, I guess that's what happens when those who are creating these games are mostly hobbyists trying to lay their passion out for others to enjoy. Imagine if none of these games released until they were completely finished.

Well, I argue it because there is sex, and then there is porn, two different things.
A game with next to no story but tons of sex is just a porn game, where story central adult VNs where sex is just one element in the story, but not at all the main thing, thus not a porn game

But, to elaborate; the difference there is that an adult game with sex usually means the focus is the story. A story with porn isn't really a story at all. I'm sure you can see the difference. Especially if you take a real life example between movies with sex/love scenes and a porn from your local adult video store. BIG difference in quality and entertainment. Unless all you want is just porn--then you might as well go to XNXX or something. They have a respectable collection of 3D porn for your viewing pleasure.
