I'm not sure what I was expecting from the story but if the mom was a slut and is now remarried...I'll probably have to say goodbye to her. It would make my outlook on her very negative. She really was my central interest but if she is as it seems then I'll have to pass. If she turns out to just have been a stripper or model I will be okay with that, but that still doesn't explain the ring, can't really argue that. Her whole demeanor in the past screams whore, which I hope is wrong. If it is the case since she was my main interest I'll probably dip out since the updates take millennia anyhow.

We're not 100% sure she was a slut, the spicy pics Taylor took of her could be a "convincing" argument for the modelling gig. The marriage is a legit fact proved by the ring on her finger tho, that's the main reason many players (myself included) are pissed off that they don't get faster updates... the story is intriguing.
Lora's character is a do-or-die situation for the game, she's the main LI, the story revolves around her and the MC. Sure, there's a lot of other beautiful women to romance, but for most she's the main interest. Plus, it doesn't fit her character to go from doting, caring mom to escort/stripper/cheap trophy wife without a good reason, so expect some dramatic twists or some really shitty excuses from the dev to justify her actions.
You just proved my point, many will drop the game if ttll throws her under the bus like that. The "sorry, son, I had no money, had to do something to pay the bills" excuse won't cut it. If she was a stripper or a "model" (doubt she was an actual model) the MC would still be justified to be pissed off, she should've let him stay with his grandma 'till she had a stable financial situation and then ask him to live with her.
I share your sentiment, but either ttll likes to troll us with those hints he dropped or he really intends to trigger a shitshow after the big revelation. lol, imagine having a caring mom who's abandoning you to earn money by spreading her legs cause she's not qualified for a legit job. Fuck, that shit hits you in the feels, I hope this doesn't apply to Lora.

In the memories she is desperate for money due to her failure to be a photographer, really desperate, that is what leads her to take erotic photos and sell them.
That path of hers led her to become a scort and then a trophy wife.
If she was a model, she wouldn't make sense to hide it like that was a bad thing.

To be honest I feel like becoming an escort is an extreme. You could literally get a normal decent paying job and then photograph as a side gig/hobby. I ain't saying it would be ez with a kid but I feel like being a whore is.....drastic and unnecessary. If it is the case that she just fell into it because no one would take her pictures seriously then I would have even less reason to like her. So, her being a trophy wife also seems kind of like a slap in the face to the MC since she just sort of left him for some rich guy (assuming). This is my issue, it all seems like she could have avoided drastic measures. I can only assume I am missing important details so I'll have to wait and see I guess.....Hopefully it's a good reason.

Hmmm... not when she completely abandoned the mc and not once checked on him for years.
If she went off to be a hoe to survive, ok not the best situation but she did it to survive, although with a smoking body like that could have easily been a model instead and not end up as an outright hoe.
If she went off to be a trophy wife, (and also had a whole separate family, that makes it 2x worse, but we'll see), while knowingly sent her son, (who she kept preaching to that they will be together and love each other forever), to a sister whom she potential knew would treat him like shit, and ended up stealing the money Lora sent for him, there's just no words to redeem that.
That ring really just puts her down on the lowest line of respect given the whole situation, the excuse is going to have to be mind blowing good. While it's interesting the mystery behind all this, that ring just takes the next step up and pushes her character so low into feelings of betrayal and abandonment. I'm a loyal type of person so maybe I'm diving too deep into feeling that way, but it'll be interesting to see how deep ttll decides to drop the mc into those feelings for the story.

Her abandoning the Mc is the main focus of the game, if she becomes a regular hoe than she has no reason to abandon him,
Only marriage sounds like a good reason for that and it's up to us or The Mc on whether to forgive her or not, The sketchbook helps us to sympathize with her and understand her situation.
You are trying to simplify the plot into(meet talk and bang) one of the reasons I like this game cause of the drama it's realistic and complicated, Realistic incest games are very rare.
Her marrying makes the plot interesting she does not look the type to engage in prostitution, if the same opportunity is given to any other women in a similar crisis they would also marry for Money rather than work their ass off as a striper or hoe. It's not like she abandoned him she did send money and instead of dumping him, she trusted her sister to take care of him, which means she still cares about him.
In our initial meeting with Lora, we are given a choice on how to interact with her, politely or rudely, not everyone thinks the same ways, we can assess situation hear her side of the story or the sketchbook, and decide whether to be angry with her or be the bigger man and forgive her.
On a side note, her marriage gives us the opportunity to meet a step-sister
if one exists.also if she does marry and have a new family, it would remind me of another game "Second chance" which had a similar Mom and son beef, hope the core plot won't be too similar.

To me, complete abandonment to go start a completely new family, left to a possibly bad sister(not even back to the dad or grandmother instead?), after spouting all his life they would stay together and always love each other, is as low as it gets, way worse than every other scenario. Even if there were terms or whatever like to never contact her old life (threatened to be killed if she left might be redeemable maybe), ultimately she choose to save herself here, what did she think would happen after 8 years(if I remember right) just waltz back in and say hi honey I'm back, sorry I didn't tell you anything all these years, we have money, we good?
I enjoyed Second Chance as well, but that situation was completely different, mc had both his parents, dads friend Nicole basically babysat mc and they got close, dad and Nicole also had an affair and then she left, the parents divorced. Being abandoned by your babysitter than your mother is a whole lot less worse.
Come Inside probably hits harder in the feels because it laid down so much backstory groundwork (even with a huge chunk still missing) already before they met back up. The terms of this abandonment can certainly change the level of feelings attached to it, looking forward to see what ttll comes up with.

The reason for hoe being worse is cause I am not a fan of ntr in this game, although I do like some ntr game but this game is not exclusively ntr focused, I personally dislike the idea of one of the main featured girls having more than one parters it reduces the character value, Once a hoe always a hoe. if she was a side character like that neighbor girl with avoidable ntr then no problem, but she is the main character.
Thus marriage is a bit more tolerable to me, also from a story point of view her being a hoe doesn't make sense for her character, she has a sense of pride, that is probably why she hasn't sent the mc back to the father or grandma, it would be like admitting defeat. I doubt she wants to be a cheap whore for her son and set a good example. She made some mistakes but she definitely cares about the Mc.
Good, I see nothing wrong with your view, if your assessment makes you believe she is guilty and irredeemable you have a choice and opportunity to follow through with it, I saw the sketchbook I kinda understand her position, I am willing to forgive her unless more info is revealed. Well I don't like ntr either, but either way, whether she's a hoe or married, she's not exclusively yours and still getting fucked and you have no choice in the matter.
I get the pride thing, it's an opinion that has been brought up before. But it really paints her to be a selfish for choose her pride over the well being of her son (if indeed the sister was not good to him, worse if she knew her sister wouldn't exactly be good to him). But if the step father and grandmother choose not to take him back that would be a different story which came down to having no choice, but that's yet to be revealed either. So the only take away we have right now is she selfishly choose pride.
The sketchbook so far shows how much she loved him, shows the fun and tender moments and the promises to always be together and love each other always, and not so much what potential bad things she had to do other than the one spicey photo session he spied on(and probably won't unless he was directly involved with those bad moments), this area of the game is what makes it even harder to want to forgive her after abandoning him for so long without an explanation.
Anyways, I love games like these as it promotes a lot of discussion as you peel back the different mysteries and speculate on the many different routes the story could go. Intertwined is another good example of this.

That was to lay low on Patreon, the patched version was the intended version, why would the mc be mad at dad's childhood friend regardless, the main point I was trying to emphasize was that you can stick to your choices if you didn't like her.
Indeed, but realistic incest games with a good plot are quite rare, Dual-family was a good one that had a serious plot.
