Yeah I'm feeling a bit disappointed by these kind of posts too.
No this is not my full time job. It's just something I do in my free time next to my job.
Of course I could have decided not to develop a game and waste hours of my time of this and then you wouldn't be playing this at all.
I my opinion disappointment usually comes from having unrealistic expectation.
Looking at the size/timeline of the previous updates and reading my reading my update posts you could have know roughly what to expect.
So your disappointment is most likely caused by lack of keeping up to date or not looking at the update history combined with unrealistic expectoration

I did, guess there was some reason behind it, hence the comment about it not being a full time job for you.
Frankly, it could have been anything. We all have lives. I'm a single parent so I know how stuff can eat up time.
As you said expectations are my own issue.
Think of it this way people like your game enough were they build up anticipation looking for what is coming next.
That's probably comes along with having such a well liked game. Consider I gave you a 4 star review compared to most the reviews I give. That says a hell of a lot.
The game has relatively minor issues compared to many of the games.
You have a few minor issues like certain events being a bit out of order.
What I mean is they can do some stuff that would have a much higher inhibition level before doing something that has a lower inhibition level. There really isn't anything in the game to justify the willingness to go along with it and or not raise living hell over them. Those can be fixed.
