This is a really great story. More than the story itself, I think anyone who wants to raise children should see this. More than half of the trouble in this story is due to a parent. Especially how Kevin turned out. If his mom were alive or his dad was an empathetic person who understood others and supported his child, then he might've become Alex's friend and become a trans or at least a decent human being. His father trying to kill him for being anything but straight made him fear his sexuality, which he, in turn, took out on someone who was going through it. This could be written as a book and still would be good. This is a game that anyone who wants to be a parent should be playing. For me it was a really touching story, and storywise a top 3.

P.S. Still would have liked atleast a mini harem with Chris, Sammy, Becca, and Zoey in it.

This game was more than great! It might not have met your expectations in certain ways, but I can say it exceeded mine in many ways.

I remember the first time I saw the previews in the OP. I didn't play it then. I wasn't ready to play a game in which there would be a lot of drama, but I took note of it. I went back to it when I felt I was in a good place to enjoy said drama and experience the story as a reader and boy am I glad I did. Reflecting on it I'm not sure if I would have kept on with the story if I tried it then and there when I first encountered it. I'm glad I did eventually go for it though.

Something I can say is that maybe you where not in the right place yourself to enjoy it or take something out of it. To me it was always evident that the story was about more than sex. If you where expecting a nukige of course you will be disappointed. As this is a forum to express yourself you are free to do so, and others to answer however they see fit, but it would be easier to understand what it is you find terrible if you made full sentences. what is it about this game that made you feel it is terrible?

I really loved this game, although currently I only did the most evil ending (which is what I usually do while a game is still in development). Now that the game is done, I will also do a "good" route sometime soon, to see how it is different.
I didn't like the hairstyle of 40 yo Chris, but to each their own.
I hope it will get a Steam release.

I also really liked the game, as well as the endings (where we forgive Eli, and where we don't forgive her), but yeah... I would like an ending with Chris/Sammy/Auntie/Mommy, but... and without this "perfect" (for me) ending, the game is 10/10 (it's even more than a porn/erotic game, it's more like deep complex thoughts about the difficulty of life in the real world for such people)

As a trans women, this game is just too dramatic for me and I couldn't fully finish it (got about half way). I wish there was a way to just skip the really horrible stuff or at least some kind of trigger warning mode that lets me know when a really fucked up scene is about to happen so I know when to skip. I know at the start there is a warning, but once you get into the game you really forget about that, or at least I did. Some of the stuff in the game really brought back some horrible memories and I had to stop.

But, this is not to say I didn't hate the game. While I didn't finish it, and don't think I'll ever be in a mental state that I could. I actually did love a lot about it. I loved that the trans protag wasn't treated as just "A chick with a dick" or a "man with tits" as it's been hard to find a game that doesn't do that, at least for me at has. I also loved the relationship building between all the characters, both the good and bad relationships. And the sex scenes weren't bad either, .

All in all, I enjoyed what I played, minus the constant downers, although I understand from a story perspective why they are there even if I didn't personally care for them. I'm not normally the kinda person to put out random suggestions for future games, but one with a lighter overall story would be great.

I understand completely. Give it some time, and maybe come back to it later? There is a happy ending, kind of a payoff for the chaos of the first half of the story.

Very nicely done story/game. I have very little to complain about. Just personal taste really on a couple of things.

Sometimes I felt the flashbacks were a bit too long and drawn out. But I realize you were just trying to give a background to some of the characters the way they feel the way they do. Also at times I wish I could have chosen an action but they were greyed out. Like that one scene with mom and the MC in the bed. Would have nice to make another choice at that moment. But...oh well.

Other than those minor things, I enjoyed the story. And best of luck on your next project as well!

The game could have a bunch of sex scenes but the story was still ass there was no structure or direction to where the plot was going things things just happened for no reason this felt like some self insert fan fiction for some loser the character designs were god awful literally every character was hard to look at the sex scenes were trash and that ending almost put me in a cringe coma this shit was terrible lol the only positive thing I could say about this "thing" is that it finally got me to stop procrastinating and play Wiab as a pallet cleanser and I have been hooked ever since

Basically you expected something more akin to a Nukige, you wanted something else than a "normal" life struggle and a character defining summer for a story. You also wanted characters that look like top models no matter their expression or the angle you looked at them. You wanted sex scenes out of a porno rather than out of real relationship. That last one granted if the sex scene is too well done in a realistic way it can give some players the impression that they are voyeurs witnessing an intimate moment between two characters and cause uneasiness. The ending you got is reflective of your playthrough, so if it was trash it might be because you acted like trash? To me it felt on the plausible and more realistic side with some regrets and some longing for more links to others but also with some joys and happiness. If it felt cringe to you I can't do anything for you.

My late grandmother thought me a lesson as I was a child that is staying with me to this day. I don't know why it stuck so much with me but I feel it is still relevant today. It's much easier to hate someone different or with different ideas than you than to love them, so we must force ourselves to see the good in everyone we comme across or we'll become haters always going for the easy way until we make it part of ourselves. Calling a character a loser is denying yourself understanding and empathy. Your analysis is so surface level that it's hard to take anything away from it.

The only thing I got out of your answer is that by calling it a self insert you at least understood that the situations have been inspired by real life. I understand that maybe it's hard to see someone love coffee so much.
