You're using a lot of terms you don't seem to actually understand. As an aside, you're also admitting to tax fraud. I'm not going to derail any further though.~Snip~
admin f95 will add abandoned tag after a long time if devs not updating it, but now they update and admin forgot to remove the abandoned tag, game will continue for now.Is it abandoned or is it not? I'm confused. Please, someone clarify or at least give me a reply.
just came and skim contentparody NSFW-version game of the 'Kingdom Hearts' franchise with a darker, perverted plotline, playable as a high-quality point-and-click adventure game.
Well Disney might be on the way out anyway. With their all pandering and other bullshit stances they took over the past couple of years, they're a hair away from loosing it all. Just ride it out, wait until they bite the dust, and finish the game. At the speed they're falling, it shouldn't be long.Part of the reason is that Disney, along with Nintendo, are especially aggressive in protecting their assets litigiously. DMCA notices and lawsuit threats are fairly commonplace when it comes to those companies vs independent content creators. Both companies are known for having a 'wholesome' image compared to their competitors, so I'd imagine that adult parodies are especially targeted by them.
You're on a public forums boasting about this, soooo, it isn't gonna be that hard to find you. They spend years finding pros in the darkweb, because they know how to avoid rookie mistakes - like boasting about your criminality on the clearnet.I'd just do my time (wouldn't be the first time) and pick up where I left off when I got out, but for one they'd have to find my real name and physical location, doable, but with as many encrypted VPN's as I have when I actually need to use them (laggy, mostly for connecting to Rarbg or BTC transactions) I'd probably die of old age first. And even assuming they did only bank account I have is for welfare checks (which isn't even my main income, not even close, that's in cash and Bitcoin), and those can't be legally garnished (people have tried, including debt collectors that in the USA can't break your legs if you don't pay them, simply show up to the judge once with proof from the bank saying it's all welfare check direct deposits = account unfrozen, not a dime from it touched and no lawyer even necessary, just a prior summary judgement they can't collect that eventually expires I think after 10 years unless they bother renewing it). And if they want to seize my 12yo shit PC not even worth $300, go ahead, I'd just buy a new one and pick up where I left off with even better gear paid with cash from a Microcenter (encrypted off-site backups, no data lost). But again for any of that they'd have to find me first. Considering it takes years of undercover work to even find a ch!ld porn producer or a drug kingpin I think I'd be safe for quite awhile while I gave them the middle finger almost the whole time, hell they can't even shut Rarbg down and they know who ran it and after they got caught and did their time. Success stories like that makes me really wish someone smarter than I am would release an AI on the internet just targeting Disney and Nintendo via making and releasing it's own lewd AVNs with their characters, let them go after something that doesn't physically exist yet has millions of copies of itself, like a smart virus that can protect itself. Even if that was on 10M PC's, one of them was mine, and they somehow had a fix for it, I would refuse to fix it and let it do it's thing and I'm sure I'm not the only one.
It's unlikely that either Disney Corporation or the Government is scouring erotic game forums looking for IP infringement or Tax Fraud. You're on a public forums boasting about this, soooo, it isn't gonna be that hard to find you. Also if Disney Corporation sues and loses... it's a really big deal, because that opens up the door to anybody else wanting to "parody" them. IP cases are super super super dangerous for big companies because you can lose. And they do sometimes lose, because regardless of how good your lawyers are or how much money you've thrown, it's still the judge making a lot of calls and then 12 randos (if it's a jury case). You're on a public forums boasting about this, soooo, it isn't gonna be that hard to find you. Yeah, that's a narrative but it's not actually how things go. Judges don't always grant "dragged on court cases"And a megacorp can keep appealing the case even if you do win. Dragging on the court dates, with ever increasing lawyer bills, that debt will crush anyone that doesnt have millions to spare like megacorps do.
Its not the judge dragging the case on. Its the lawyers. They appeal a case and go back to trial based on new evidence they used to appeal the case.Yeah, that's a narrative but it's not actually how things go. Judges don't always grant "dragged on court cases"
That's not how any of that works. You can sometimes get a stay of a judgement pending an appeal, but Disney Corporation wouldn't be the ones trying to do that, since they'd be the ones asking for injunctions and what-not. And no that's not how any of that works. And going to court isn't cheap for corporations. There's a reason they try to settle rather than go to expensive dangerous court cases. Its not the judge dragging the case on. Its the lawyers. They appeal a case and go back to trial based on new evidence they used to appeal the case.
Or it's possible that the Dev was lazy and looking for an excuse as to why they stopped that would let them get off guilt free. The chance that a porn parody actually got a C&D from Nintendo is almost zero. Especially one that doesn't make any real money on a pirate porn site. I would put odds much higher on "the guy actually abandoned it because they couldn't be bothered to finish" and used that as an excuse.I heard (from previous posts) this was one last update but the tag was due to the dev himself not having a spine and caving due to Nintendo legal threats and stated he was discontinuing development. A dev himself stating he's abandoning it (presumably from his own Patreon or Discord posts) is probably the best reason for an abandoned tag. At least it wasn't like AOA Academy where all the dev's online presence was deleted without warning or explanation and allowing the rumors of what happened to run wild, which also will get an abandoned tag pretty quick.
Also you can't just "appeal the case" you need to have an actual reason to be allowed to do that. Appeals Courts don't bother with every case. And one that's pretty cut and dry (parody is protected from copyright) is unlikely to garner their interest. Its not the judge dragging the case on. Its the lawyers. They appeal a case and go back to trial based on new evidence they used to appeal the case.
