I'm guessing Ava had some sort of exposure to the artifact mentioned by the scientists in the latest chapter, hence the "Corrupted Ava" entity following her around and nobody else that we've seen so far.

Which is kind of weird since the scientist women were talking about the 'viruses' out of control mutations. You would think that more advanced mutations would ignore the vaccinations or at the very least there would be a hint that the vaccinations were less effective with those mutations. Lot of ways to go with this kind of story. I'm hoping it will surprise me in the future updates.Next time read the text instead of just fapping to the pictures.

Unless the virus completely change its way to infect cells the vacines would still hold some imunization protection even if they become less effective. Which seems to be the case in this story.
From the looks of the crazy director Kato and doctor Rakita they want to make controlable supersoldiers, a la Resident Evil.

I'm really glad I tried this. It feels exceptionally high quality in all aspects of its presentation and is incredibly entertaining.
The animation is fast-paced, steamy, and more polished than a lot of projects. The usage of evocative prose for sex scenes rather than solely depending on renders elevates and makes them a lot more enjoyable; high quality writing is arguably the most important part of erotica for me.
I adore the character design of the women in this, especially Sarah, and there's a really fun focus on fanservice action scenes that creates a confluence of power and sexuality for the girls.
It covers saucy kinks I wish were more common with monsters, rough sex, superhuman stamina, heavy cumplay, and women being overwhelmed by pleasure and orgasms.
The large amount of lesbian and, surprisingly, futa content, was a very welcome surprise, and something I'd love to see more of in the future.
I'm not a fan of rape, but it leans into the fantasy hentai logic where-in the girls are overcome with bliss, and doesn't have realistic severity.
There isn't much to the overarching story as of yet, but Ava and Sarah are really well characterized, and I love the relationship between them. I felt strongly sympathetic and was rooting for both of them.

I mean the virus isn't based on anything that exist in reality. Viruses (or any other pathogen) cannot change species willy-nilly. Somehow it's able to physically alter a human body faster than you can say Adenosine triphosphate. And the virus is purpose driven beyond the simple goal of reproduction, acting like a combination of Toxoplasma, Cordyceps, Ebola and Baculovirus with several stages.
How potent a virus is can be explained away with how far the virus has mutated inside their respective hosts. If it's mutated a couple of times already after jumping species, it could be less dangerous for humans, since the virus becomes more specialized and less compatible with other DNA. Which would mean the fleshy wall that impregnated our heroine is more human than the other creatures that lurked in the sewer.
Another idea: the vaccine can use foreign DNA to create its own incubator, working hand in hand with helper cells. For that to work it samples all the

Okay so a few things...
Ava and Sarah's "Immunity"
- Based from the scientist and what transpired in the update, Ava and Sarah have some sort of "immunity" to the virus because of the prototype vaccine administered (probably secretly) to them by the scientists in the past. However, due to the fact that these are prototypes, there isn't a 100% guarantee yet that its functional and chances of mutations might occur when infected. In this case, it reacted differently on both girls when they got infected. Sarah, when in contact with the virus or people infected by it, seems to be susceptible to the virus' "influence". More specifically, it getting her horny like anyone else but she is not able to get infected. In other words, she might be a successful strand of the vaccine since she's not getting infected by the monsters no matter how much they fuck her. Unfortunately, Ava's vaccine seems to have mutated differently when in contact with the virus. She got infected yes but unlike others, she has not been able to fully succumb to the "zombification" of the virus itself or what ever the vaccine did to her gave her has some mental resistance towards it. Strangely though, her virus manifests as Corrupted Ava which is unlike the others who just became mindless. Whatever this entity is, it pushes her to be more corrupted and also promises her "power". In other words, from what I understand at least, Ava will not get cured of the virus but rather be able to "control" the infection herself as she further gets fucked and her form of the virus mutates under the influence of the vaccine.
The Artifact
- The fact that it's called "artifact" implies to me that wherever they found this virus, its is really old and probably comes from space. If its the latter, we are going into dead space territory now with the virus and that makes things more interesting given necromorphs in that game. The idea of the scientist finding some space artifact, tampering it to make a virus and fucking themselves over is ever so funny.
The Pregnancy
- Considering this has some inspiration from another game called parasite eve... now that Ava is knocked up, what are the chances of Corrupted Ava making Ava pregnant for the sole purpose of making her give birth to some sort of "Ultimate Being," a parasitic, god-like entity.

On another note, Sarah should have known how to repel that Plague Husk that attacked her in the sewers. Her knife would have been effective on the one unprotected body part of that creature's body that was just hanging there. Chop that off and her problem is solved. Too hell with trying to stick the knife between the armored plates! Look lower, gal!
