VN Ren'Py Contagion Crisis [v0.5.0] [WeLoveMonsters]

Right now our focus is this game. I don't want to commit to anything other than this one. But...

We have two ideas for our next games:

1. is Contagion Crisis 2 which will follow this game. It will involve Sarah and Ava again but like I said above, it will focus more on Sarah while Ava will still be in it.

2. A sci-fi dating sim/VN we're calling Xenowrangler where you play as a female scientist who goes to an alien planet and "obtains" samples from various aliens to use for a pharmaceutical company. It will also have a cast of employees that you can choose to romance or not. I'm trying to decide if it would be more RPGm game or more of a sandbox VN game. Not sure the complexities of either but haven't done much research because this is a far off thing.

Both sound excellent though Id be more inclined for a sequel first and foremost imo
The second one looks good i'd just say lose the double braids personally, never been a big fan of braided hairstyles like that, but thats always something you could try making a Poll on for the subscribers

Are you really entertaining the thought of switching the engine/art style and the genre? Not here to ruin your hopes and dreams but I've seen many devs fail over the years who were relying on the support of an outside artist. If you haven't got the tools to maintain a steady output, I would think long and hard about such a risky endeavor.

I like the sequel idea, Sarah is a top tier HS creation and would be a waste of an ASSet not to fully utilize that character.

If you haven't got the tools to maintain a steady output, I would think long and hard about such a risky endeavor.

I've been working with an external artist since the start of CC. I know the risks. We're not changing genre. We're branching into an additional one. There's a big difference.

Also, our current models are made using honey select which means we can't sell on Steam and limits our support. If we want to continue to make games long term we need to look at additional projects that allow us to do that. I love the look and feel of CC as is which is why the sequel is our priority. The second option is just another avenue to explore.

Why not make an alien-style porn game? In which we follow the Alien as he gradually takes over the ship and assimilates the crew.

We've discussed an idea similar in nature where you play the monster. That would probably come after we're finished with CC since that is focused more on similar corruption themes.

a game similar to parasite inside but you play as the parasite using whatever engine yall feel is best would not go unnoticed imo
but yea a sequel would work best followed by whatever yall are most enthusiastic about lol

CC2 is my preferred choice (especially with Sarah being persistently sidelined). Nothing against the second idea but it sounds like something we've seen a million times already and I personally prefer the HS art style.

Sarah gang bangs with groups of male humans are the best IMO. Then again I love the whole strong woman finding she loves being dominated by groups of men games like Goons Raid Her.
