OSError: Couldn't find file 'audio/music/sage.ogg.'.
. Solution is renaming the file. Better is to use the correct filename in the script...BTW thus far I'm enjoying the story!
Edit:
Hmm, probably this file is also present in the archive.rpa? Renaming didn't help while the game was running. A reload also didn't work. Only ignore skips this music...

Just finished. Story's getting better and better: too bad the update is ending too soon and you end up crying "nooo, just give me more!"

After I first tried the game in one of the first release, I remember I thought it looked good, but kinda forgot about it as it was such a slow burn. If i wanted good graphics, a story and no "action" I'd rather watch some netflix. Now I'm reading the latest pages in the thread and what I get is that it still doesn't have much of said "action" and instead it was (is?) at the risk of being abandoned. That is like 3 years later after I first tried it.
Should I try it? At the risk of blueballing to death / of it being dropped Estate Dominate style?

You've almost nailed it, there is only one small flaw in your take. The MC is not just trying to get a girlfriend, it’s 1) The Boss’s Daughter 2) The Heiress to the largest oil company in the country 3) The Cece!

It's happening, and it's coming from the usual suspects - those guys who post soon after a release, but you never saw them writing here during the long (long) wait between one update and the other.Unfortunately, this is where the dev loses; the story seems to have grown out of the pants of typical porny AVN a long time ago. I'm expecting a lot of "lmao, what a cuck this MC is", "they only talking, not shagging", "it's been two years and not even a blowjob from a blonde bitch, lol" and other thoughtful reactions.

This really is a great game, i just hope the MC man up a little, until now he s a simp, and it would be awesome if Jenny would appear again in the story.

I'm in no way state that the story is good because of the slowburn/no sex/edging fetish. I think the story is well written because it is, well, written well. At least good enough for me to be on my list of 15 favorite AVNs, selected from about 400.
But in a strange coincidence, in most cases, it turns out that in well written stories, the relationship building phase takes a time before the lewd scenes between the characters become not rushed and take on meaning in the context of characters relationship. And due to the long update cycle, the curse of most single-developer projects, this stage spans for years. And even longer if sexual relations are not the main focus of the story.
I'm not saying it's impossible to create an exellent short lewd story, One Night Stand is a great example of that. However, I prefer stories that are long, less sex-oriented and contain characters who have their own ambitions, personality and character arc. I guess all of this exist in CC.

Hah! Alice will find a way to wrap her daddy around her finger. I think little Vicky could be a much bigger obstacle in Ed's path to a happily ever after. He kind of befriended Vicky and she's very sweet, diabetes-level dangerous.

I find it interesting that Edward chose to ask Alice about his situation with Emma, I think that the most likely path for future sex scenes is going to be Emma, and other girls perhaps, but if you're holding out for Elsa or Alice scenes it's probably going to take longer. Like I wonder when Ed decides to give that black haired girl from the pub a call, seems like an easy excuse for a quick sex scene by the dev, without needing to create whole new character arcs to justify it.
All in all, this game is great, I'm not bothered by the slow burn, let the developer take his time, I just want it to be coherent.

Since this is a normal conversation, even though we agree to disagree on some points, why should it bother me, that seems to be what on-topic threads are for.Having a billionaire princess and her friend who definitely isn't also a billionaire princess suddenly materialise and start transmitting the four noble truths of motivational content isn't "relationship building", whatever else it might be. Imo Jenny will probably come back at some point, because of the choice at the end of the flashback couch scene ("I just want to learn how to live" vs "I want revenge" ).
I also wouldn't be surprised if Edward run into Anita (the first girlfriend that Jenny gets rid of )at some point. Earlier in then game, when Edward goes to Emma's office he runs into a brunette who looks at him weirdly, maybe it is her.
By the way, I think we will soon see Emily (Elsa's friend) again, she is also in all the menu pages from the beginning so we will obviously have the opportunity to interact with her

Edward never used Elsa as his motivation, she has great role in his changes, but she neither the reason nor beacon of his aspirations. Elsa is more of a person who gives him clearer direction to his destination, keeps him in form and prevent side-tracking. Person many of us may need but don't have. Basically her presence is what differentiate this game from real life.
i think in future updates, if edward will get promoted more and hold high positions in office, might be elsa give him some erotic tease for her own benefits or
small kind intimate acts by edward, like that of blanket, will start melting the toughness of Elsa
