Is there currently corruption in the game? if so maybe the tag can be added. :)
I meant the fact that it apparently doesn't have anything that qualifies it to have the tag despite the name, is what makes me sad.

Ah makes sense. Yeah you would think a game called Corrupted at the core would have corruption.

Short answer is that it will be there, but isn't at the moment. The game's setup is similar to darkest dungeon, but instead of stress, its lust. So as your characters progress further in the dungeons, and get more exposed to various lewd things, they get more and more lewd and corrupted. Then its up to you how you want to manage their lust/corruption.

I, (to my peril probably) takes a traditional approach to game dev. I like to lay strong foundations first, then build on top of it. I don't really consider what's available even alpha 0.1 worthy - its still missing many core features, but I'm getting there. And TBH I rather make the title debut much later, but it can't be helped, I guess.

That's fair. I'll say this at least. I can't remember a single time I've seen it in the updated releases so far, and not clicked on it just because the name makes me want to like it, and the gameplay sounds like something I'd like overall. Hopefully in the future I'll get there.

having move and attacks on the same cards really slows this game down to a snail crawl though. and seeing a character hold a gun but almost never have a ranged attack option other then marked....is annoying, ranged in general is too short to really even be viable

I agree that Violet lose her ranger appeal to me and both her and the Nurse also lost their healing appeal. It seems to be much more melee focused now. I think that characters could use some consistent cards to match their kit more all while keeping the random but powerful cards in there.

The basic "Shoot" card have an attack range of 3. You get to move at least 2 tiles per turn, so you can cover at least 5 tiles of space with the bottom of Basic Action that you draw every turn and the top of "Shoot." That is like 60% of the entire battle area already.

The deck for violet in /data/_base/_unitdatas_.json is probably as follows in the version you are playing: 1606872592824.png

So even disregarding "Scout Target", 5 out of the 10 cards are ranged.
Lets say after you play all 3 of your snipes and sprint, you are left with 6 cards. You draw 4 cards per turn, and 2 are "Shoot"s so its overwhelmingly likely that you'll draw at least one "Shoot" card when you draw 4 out of 6 cards.

Yeah, I agree that in the state that it's currently in, cards makes the game fell super slow and clunky. As for character abilities, i'm guessing that once player get to choose what cards to assign to what character this will improve, but right now it overall feels like a huge downgrade.

The hex system is good. It streamlines the movement which was very difficult to manage in previous entries. However the card system is a step in the wrong direction. Simply put, I do not mind that things are being tried out. You need to see what does not work to eventually end up on what does work. I feel like there are many aspects of the card combat system that should end up on the cutting room floor. Not all of them, but certainly the playing of cards from the players side.

This is going nowhere, 6 months and barely more than a single animation has been done. Really feel like this is a big string along job since so many others started and finished already while these devs spin their wheels.

I'd prefer Malice and the Machine over this anyway.

I don't want this to be true, but calling it now. Down the line progress is gonna grind to a halt. Enlit calls the game "mostly done" and dumps it after some snag in favor of a new project that'll totally not have the same problems as this.

I'm sorry that you feel this way, but I'm trying really hard here.

As for the "no new animation" thing, well, just in September, I added like 10+ new animations - couple of threesomes and all the new smol-regular size animations( the goblin ones, if you well ). Then I worked on the character customization and combat system + dungeon system upgrades. You can check for yourself on twitter if you scroll down a bit: .

As for the "snag", well, that already happened with the new combat system change to the grid-card system. That was a huge change! Gameplaywise, it might as well be a completely new game. That sort of drastic revamp would be really challenging to do in the old engine, but thanks to the new engine with a more suitable programming choice for bigger projects, it was only a time consuming, but manageable task. So no, I don't foresee the same kind of "snag" propping up.

and where did you guys get that enlit is going to drop another game? just because he stoped 1 game that was 95% done(a whole LOT more than a lot of devs out there btw), that means he is going to drop all the games? wtf is this shit?
