Who said being a cuck is the only path? There could be a revenge route and bag Anna as well or maybe she will help or something. There are 5 or 6 routes as per dev.
Problem with bagging Anna is if she is manipulating things as well, then she is just as bad as the rest and not to be trusted. Also as I said saving the marriage would more or less be the cuck route. Even if you get revenge your marriage is still over unless you choose to allow yourself to be cucked. Part of the Dev notes say
But be careful since if you are not, you can literally lose the game. It depends on how "corrupted" your heart is or what you are willing to do to make things right your way.
Most of the time the options for making things right your way are the devs choices like forgive her and live happily ever after (even though you can't trust her). Not always what people would actually do but the best of what they are offered. Might be a surprise choice in there but none will realistically be not losing somehow. The question for the revenge route becomes against who? Revenge seems to be quite corrupt and might be a worse ending or game over. Do you get revenge on the wife for her betrayal? Like the early on bullet to the head ending someone mentioned. I don't think "cucking" her will do much good since the kiss and all the other triggers already made her forsake her marriage vows and love for the MC. Making her turn into a cumdump for everyone she might end up liking it so not really revenge there (unfortunately that seems to be the most popular thing to happen in NTR stories that I have played). Revenge against Leon? that should already be more or less in the plans after what his family did to the MC's. Revenge against X? Thwarting his plans (the mission) is pretty much doing that. Anna? If she is one of the manipulators then walking away from her, if she's after the MC, would be that part settled. Against everyone involved lol simple just disappear mid mission and let things fall apart on their own but we know that won't be a choice as that would end the story prematurely.
So that leaves staying until the mission is complete no matter if he's cheated on or cucked the entire time to be able to walk away at the end. We know he is going to "find" the sex diary someone mentioned as her task, the only question will be how many are in it before he finds it. While revenge will make people feel better it's still losing because of everything that has happened until he gets it, unless he accepts having an unfaithful wife (becoming a cuck). That's where I am trying to figure out how he doesn't "lose". I'll still wait a bit to see if I can get to this before it goes a way I won't like but unfortunately most NTR games have the MC becoming a cuck of some sort. They all seem to follow the sharing/cuck path but the sharing is only the LI being shared with other guy(s), so pretty much a participating cuck instead of a watching one. Maybe I'll be surprised this time so I'll keep watching until I have the time to start this one unless I see things going a way I don't like. Part of the problem with NTR stories being good, is to have any type of good ending things tend to get "unrealistic" after everything that has happened.
