As someone who uses patreon to fund my game and know that will soon be axed too;

- Last year to until now me and many other creators of porn/non-porn stuff on patreon had a large number of donations not being processed and failing, I had from 20 to 30% in some months.

- One of my patrons said he even had to call his bank to approve it, according to him the bank categorized the payment code or something like this as coming from a porn site, you guys can read better about this on r/patreon, there are many similar reports like this one in there from a few months ago, reports coming from creators that were not using patreon to fund porn content.

If this is true and I believe this is, they are culling all the porn creators they can to change their payment code to what it was before, or maybe they already fixed it and are just trying to cut all the ones they can to avoid this from happening again, it's not like porn it their main source of profit...

What I really want to say is, if you have porn there... they will cut you off soon, if not in this ban wave probably on the next. or do you really think they didn't knew about all the pregnancies, landladies and roommates on the games until now?

Yeah if you donated than contact Patreon demand refund for the last month at least! If they refuse than tell them your going to report it for fraud! As you paid for services/product not rendered because Patreon canceled the developer.

This is probably the real reason Patreon is starting to get banned for funding because they are probably going through a lot of fraud with the shit Patreon pulls!

And honestly, they could kick the game for having mind control too, as being mind controlled isn't consensual. Mind control games are always just waiting to be kicked. Dreams of Desire got booted recently too, and that game has been complete for years.

This is not how patreon works. When a creator is banned, patreon attempts to refund the money to patrons. They don't keep it.

When i open my Patreon it´s say:
This page is under review.
and on my Payment Site, still say next payment 1. march.
But i don´t think it´s fair from Patreon, when they only "reviewing the Page", to cut off the Owner of the Site.
On Discord say:"Patreon has completely cut off my ability to interact with my site. I can't make posts, reply to comments, send messages or issue refunds."

It's theft but I assume anyone willing to challenge it would have to face a nightmare in the courts as many indie devs are unlikely to read the full terms of service agreements instead of just clicking ok like a normal person. Maybe they "refund" the money but without an accountant going over the books I wouldn't be surprised if some cooking is going on in the background.

As a pure middleman, I do not see how patreon can afford to attack their userbase in the name of corporate profits. I guess as a 4billion$ company they just exist for shareholders to fuck them now.

Patreon just kicks back and lets the money come in, they get 5 or 10% for doing nothing. As long as they keep the payment processors and their investors happy a $10K a month is chump change to what they make for having poultry web hosting service, not even dealing with storage as other sites handle that, with limited outsourced tech support.

All this talk of loli characters is something I don't see at all. To me, the difference between the actual kids and I assume short/small women should be obvious to me. The mind control narrative doesn't work with me due to it being desire surfacing rather than rewriting minds regarding the girls.

End case being the ban is more about lack of nuance than outright overzealous envelope pushing.

Eh, turns out I found a couple of spare hours these this weekend after all, downloaded the game and have begun my return to it and my venture into collecting evidence for a story analysis. Only on day four yet and already have several pages' worth of notes and a somewhat uncomfortable feeling of familiar vibes from the player character... which is odd, since I don't recall disliking him the first time I played. May be because of how closely I'm paying attention this time around.

Anyway, I just wanted ask a quick question (and possibly confirm a suspicion of mine) before I proceed with the story: do you have to use Control on Lily to be able to do more than work for her?

This is the only game so far to get its hooks into me so well that I became a monthly supporter. With the recent 'attack' from Patreon (see link in game description for more on that) I am humbly asking anyone and everyone with a couple dollars to spare to join as a supporter on subscribe star.
Yes its a koikatsu based game but the things the dev manages to do with it are pretty impressive. Honestly I can't say enough good things about this game and given that it is ArcGames first game they have worked on, I can definitely see amazing things in their future if they can just get the support they need.
Their discord is a really chill place, lots of fun people just having a good time and the mods keep up really well on keeping the shit posters and trouble makers out. Arc himself chats with us regularly and baring any emergencies or major events which he will notify us about ahead of time, always releases updates on time.

I don't post very much on here, not because I dislike the games or content or anything like that but just because I am a rather introverted person with anxiety so putting myself out there in public forum like this is really difficult but for this game, I am willing to take that risk.

These are the kind of Devs that deserve our support. The game is still free on his site of course, being a supporter gets you access to new content earlier and a decent assortment of other bonuses. Give the game a shot, if you like it then join on up and help protect the Corrupted Kingdoms!

Another reason to dislike patreon. The earlier the devs move on to subscribestar (who could also add some more payment methods) the better imo.
