To anyone else who may have had this issue I leave this post and reply up for you, after deleting the game and redownloading everything the issue fixed itself.love the game and have the most up-to-date file available here and have noticed anytime I try and talk with Victoria there is an issue and something like what I have put below occurs. Only with her dialogue so far that I've noticed. View attachment 5507317
Then write your own story.they should just keep extending the act 2 instead act 3 with dark deep story gloomy and shiet.

ah yes the good old "writing my own story"Then write your own story.
We established from act 1 that Morgana wants to subjugate or kill all of humanity, the humans that know about the Fey want to kill ALL the Fey period, and with extreme themes of mind control on the MC's part. What do you think was going to happen story wise besides a war?
This is Arc's game, Arc's story, and the groundwork for the war has been there from the earliest versions.
I don't think that this was his point, criticize all you want, but I think he was just talking about how the story progresses and hints at future events, and I see where he comes from, but, the thing is I feel like the war should be an act 2 type of thing, and he should have reserved act 3 for the finale of the story, I'm not saying that he can't make a good story with the setup he made, I just think that the structure is just off, but that's my opinionah yes the good old "writing my own story"
So by that logic, no one is allowed to criticize movies, games, or books unless they’ve made one themselves, right? If feedback is dismissed with "write your own story" then why a review section exists in the first place.
Thank you for getting it. To quote Jack Black from the first Goosebumps movie, though: " Every story ever told can be broken down into three parts. The beginning, The middle, and The Twist." And that was the start of Chapter 3, Morgana fearing your power and the organization recognizing your threat actually team up, because they've both had dealings with your alternate selves. And because their own goals are WHOLELY incompatible with each other, they immediately turn on each other when they think you're dead.I don't think that this was his point, criticize all you want, but I think he was just talking about how the story progresses and hints at future events, and I see where he comes from, but, the thing is I feel like the war should be an act 2 type of thing, and he should have reserved act 3 for the finale of the story, I'm not saying that he can't make a good story with the setup he made, I just think that the structure is just off, but that's my opinion
You're not criticizing though. You're bitching. You don't like how the story that Arc wrote is turning out. If this was a movie, you would walk out. If this was a book, you'd stop reading it. Now, if you have a valid criticism like "The UI rework that Arc developed in the most recent update is broken, and makes it incredibly difficult to navigate," then YES. You are criticizing the game. If we were in...chapter 8 and MC and Gramps were still plotting and trying to set things up and there was no actual progress on that front, "After all this time, I would expect the metaplot to progress by now," that would ALSO be a valid criticism. However, what you are doing is "I don't like the story's meta plot but instead of ignoring the thread I wanna complain that the story didn't progress how I wanted." Additionally, you aren't in the review section. You are in the general chat section.ah yes the good old "writing my own story"

Yeah me too but as it stands I guess he will always have the upper hand on us because we will never get to lay a hand on her... In any way.i jsut want to inslave the treebitch and take over the world damn it all
i really hope we get that update sooon
Wrong. He is releasing things, updates, statuses, wallpapers, so he's fulfilling his obligation to Subscribestar. So they aren't supporting him for nothing.Problem is two-way:
1. We get the update and it will end up like the game status now - a shitload of stupid changed thinks that DO NOT work!!!
2. We never see his so called update, but as long as you pay him he is just clapping his hands all the way to the bank???
Just look at his Subscribestar page; still 1640 players who pay him - for what: NOTHING!
Well, why dont we let him speak for himself - which he newer do here - and as said on first page:Wrong. He is releasing things, updates, statuses, wallpapers, so he's fulfilling his obligation to Subscribestar. So they aren't supporting him for nothing.
And again, you painfully don't get the purpose of crowdfunding. You aren't his boss. He has a project he wants to do, and crowdfunding helps him do that. So I'm going to be blunt.
He doesn't owe us jack shit outside of his contracted agreement with the patronage platform(subscribestar). Supporters are not investors. Supporters are not bosses. Supporters are PATRONS. Meaning they believe in his project and want to help see it come to light. That's how patronage works. That's how it's always worked. "We'll supplement your income so you can do your passion and not have to do the daily grind just to survive." And Arc is NOT making enough to live off of. $5k a month is poverty level income.
Where are you from 60K a year is not poverty level jeezWrong. He is releasing things, updates, statuses, wallpapers, so he's fulfilling his obligation to Subscribestar. So they aren't supporting him for nothing.

what am i bitching about? for complaining about act 3 dark deep glomy? should just focus on act 2? im not attacking the author with those word, criticism is feedback, not competition. You're not criticizing though. You're bitching. You don't like how the story that Arc wrote is turning out. If this was a movie, you would walk out. If this was a book, you'd stop reading it. So let me say it again: You not liking how the story that you didn't write turned out, especially a story that actually makes sense, isn't criticism. It's just whining.
Go to the review section, leave a 1-star with "It isn't just a happy harem game and gets dark," as your review and be done with it. Here's why: You don't have people telling you to stuff it because you're bitching, and people who don't care about your opinion on how the story develops doesn't have to read your bitching. And people who read the reviews will see that, and if they share your desires of a happy harem game, then they are saved the aggravation.
Depends entirely where you are -- U.S. in Hawaii, or parts of California or New York it most certainly is. Living wage in Silicon Valley (aka Santa Clara county) is north of six figures $U.S. for a family of four -- not kidding. While that's above the poverty line, it doesn't leave a lot to spare. Housing + Medical are more than $60k just by themselves.Where are you from 60K a year is not poverty level jeez
Yeah Individual areas may Cost out the a** however Poverty level for the US is well Below 30K a year I should know I made good money as a Machinist and as a Computer repair tech and still was below 30K a year most of my life.Depends entirely where you are -- U.S. in Hawaii, or parts of California or New York it most certainly is. And then there's taxes. It all adds up really fast.
Yeah, umm... buddy that's not patronage at this point, people who pay him are supporting him for the game, shit that he's releasing like artwork, wallpapers, etc. are just extras, and if he doesn't release anything game related, he's basically running a scam with extra steps, lobesod has a point hereWrong. He is releasing things, updates, statuses, wallpapers, so he's fulfilling his obligation to Subscribestar. So they aren't supporting him for nothing.

BS ...the game hasnt been updated in liek a year now....screw itOther than that is literally what patronage is. The patron(s) support the artist's lifestyle who then produces things. All the artwork and wallpapers ARE part of the game, part of the project.
