For a moment I thought that said what was the cost of deploying foreskin.
Anyway, thank you guys for teaching brainlets like us how this game works. Exponential growth is such a weird concept.
No worries! I'm happy to help people enjoy this game I have so much fun with myself, and I feel like the other people here that's made guides and art packs feel similarly.
And personally, I like to see people on here who initially had problems/frustrations with a particular team, or learning the basics, come out on top in the end. Second-hand Victory is pretty neat-o in my opinion
Heya everyone! More detailed post coming later today, but I finished my recent wave of characters for my image pack and its all uploaded and ready to go. This is the "lite" version and to keep things simple, basically the "plug and play" version of my pack. The "full" version will have the image pack along with all the other things I've been working on, including alt names/packs for easy costume/hairstyles changes in-game for your forsaken, as well as challenge mode lists for my custom teams, and my full archive of the chosen designs that are currently completed so you can have easy access to make your packs with my designs.
I hope explained things well, so without further ado here's my new pack! I hope you enjoy
Just as a question, I joked about the JAV thing, but is there some event where one of the girls, probably after messing the shit out of her mental state, seeks some kind of assurance people still like her by making some weird sex tape or something? They already go pretty far in some events if they've fallen pretty far.
There are a couple of Chosen downtime actions which fit that theme among the T3 and T4 shame-focused downtimes. In particular, when two Chosen have T4 Dignity Break and lots of SHAM trauma, they're willing to star together in a pornographic piece of Demonic propaganda.
Every loop in campaign mode should include at least one of the custom Chosen in your roster, unless they're all Superior Chosen and you haven't reached Superior Chosen yet. If you get a loop where none of the three Chosen are custom, but you still have valid custom Chosen who haven't shown up yet, then that's a bug and I'd appreciate seeing your save.
If you're talking about things like motivation and stamina costs, those are related to Hostility (and maybe Obedience for Stamina?)
Another thing is the Level of their Vulnerability when they were defeated and what type of vulnerability when they were corrupted (minor, core, significant).
Regarding Obedience, it doesn't reduce the Stamina cost, but it does affect daily Stamina regeneration. So, Chosen with low Obedience won't take as long to recover and be ready for another set of deployments.
The last training tier, which is coming in this update, will also make it possible to hit some of those really high Disgrace values without needing to rely on getting a Total Dignity Break on a Minor Dignity Chosen, so you won't have to jump through as many hoops to get a Forsaken with a reasonable early-game deployment cost.

Here is the "Full" Version of my image pack along with a roadmap of what I'm planning on doing for my image pack as well as some other side projects that sort of spawned from me working on this pack and coming up with ideas.
Be aware that this will be a chonky boi since it has my image pack along with the the full archive of my designs.
You must be registered to see the links
First up is the pack itself, As I said in my previous post, This pack introduces 4 completely new chosen Designs as well as some additional goodies for the the pre-existing chosen designs in way of the the forsaken plugsuits and some minor touchups to some of their expressions.
Here's a preview of the forsaken plugsuits to get them out of the way now!
As you can see they are 3 different variations and eventually all of the chosen designs will have all 3 variations available to them. But to keep these releases somewhat timely I decided to just do 1 per chosen design which will also lead me to my next point.
You've already seen the 4 new chosen designs in my previous post, however the difference this time is that I chose not to do the full variations I normally do for all of these new chosen designs, that is to say, 2 hairstyles and 2 chosen costumes, and that has always included variations for their forsaken, civillian, superior, and superior forsaken forms. This is because after the last update, I reached the quota of chosen designs so now its very unlikely you'll come across chosen having the same designs on the same team. Here is what's been completed on the 4 new designs at the moment:
Next update these 4 will get the standard additions though like the ones before, so 1 New Hairstyle and outfit each.
What all of this means is my priority has shifted from adding in a lot of chosen designs to reduce duplicates from showing up on the same team, to now adding in chosen designs to their appropriate archetype/personality type. Some new chosen designs will still get the full suite and will replace a large amount of names to keep things fresh for people who might see multiple names but it won't be every single update now.
And lastly, some of the chosen designs might be moved to different names so you might see a previous design showing up as a "Zenith" or another one showing up as a "Prophet."
With that out of the way, Let me show you some of the new hairstyles and costumes for the 5 from chosen designs from the last update!
Also if you play corrupted saviors with the other genders enabled this update has male variants for some of the chosen designs! only Blue (miracle) is fully completed from civilian to superior forsaken but I do plan on catching the others up when there's less work for me to do on the art pack haha. At the very least I'll aim to do some of their civillian forms each update. here's a preview if you're interested
Next part to talk about is changing costumes in game. This part I'd honestly would like the most feedback on if you use my image pack. To keep things short, the forsaken menu allows you to the change names of your forsaken at anytime,
and since the portrait system is tied to names that means you can basically switch a forsaken's costume on the fly as long as you make sure to name them correctly. I have some variations that are not being used and this will continue to be the case going forward so this seemed like a fun use for them now.
Currently I'm still debating on the naming system or even how many of these I should do even since I don't want my image pack to get too bloated so if you have any ideas or preferences
of using alternate names for alt costumes feel free to let me know!
As of this update, I'm just testing this so only one alt exists and its for the forsaken "Miracle"
To change her costume, just rename her to "Miracle-2" And the costume change will be instant!
I know this is a lot shit to read but we're almost done lol
Next thing is the roadmap of the next 3 updates of my art pack as well as what I'm currently designing for the art pack.
Now I want to talk about two new things, Challenge Scenarios and The new project I plan to work on in the future when I have some time.
So if you've played Corrupted Saviors for awhile you know there's a lot of ways to set your plans and corrupt chosen, forming friendships or rivalries, defiling chosen yourself or with thralls, or even using another chosen to do so.
And combined with the varying personalities you can come up with some neat scenarios and play them out, at least I have
I had some fun thinking about it and the stories in between so I ended up making a challenge scenario with my custom team!
This scenario has specific objectives to carry out in a single run, whether it's progressing relationships with specific chosen in a certain way, using defiler commanders to break the t2 on a chosen for the first time, or even unlocking specific vignettes.
The objectives are accompanied by quotes from the chosen that I think can piece together a neat story if you follow along and read them.
So if you gotten good at the game I recommend trying these out! I've tested and completed these myself so they certainly aren't impossible. Only 1 is available atm and uses my custom team, "the resplendent tones."
I'll include one new scenario along with the custom team they're made for after each update. These will vary in difficulty.
Lastly, I want to announce(?) something that I plan on working on in the future. I ended up illustrating a vignette scene for fun and sending to CSDev since it was based on the game and I didn't know what else to do with it really. They brought up the idea of it seeming like CG for a visual novel and that since the game is in the creative commons I could make one if I wanted to using these kind of illustrations like CG's
I thought about it for awhile and came with some pretty decent ideas for the visual novel so I decided I'll make sort of visual novel companion for Corrupted Saviors. The basic premise will follow a newly reawakened demon lord that was supposedly defeated years ago. Story-wise I have a good idea of what to do, the characters will based on the chosen designs I've made and some of the scenes/CG will based on events that can happen in corrupted saviors like the interview, vignettes, and some battles.
And The story will be based on my challenge scenarios so by playing the visual novel and the game side-by-side you can have a really dope experience I hope!
I don't know when I have the time to work on this but it could be after I finished most of the portrait pack as well as finish working on the mod for this other game I'm working on so don't expect anything soon haha
But if you want a sneak peek here's the illustration in question! (I need to practice drawing male characters more lol) This is from the vignette "Guilty Service"
If I make anymore during my downtime I'll post them whenever I upload my next image pack update!
Ty for reading the mountain of info, I really just wanted to say everything I have planned at the moment so you can look forward to things if you're interested in my image pack or anything else I mentioned, I hope you have a nice day!

Congrats on the release! The new designs look excellent. I'll go ahead and update the link on the blog.
Ty for praise! I hope the next update won't have as many complications as this has had and will be finished sooner lol.
I didn't know about the specifics on how obedience plays into a forsaken's stamina usage so ty for the clarification! And I'm really looking forward to the new update already so hearing that it will make getting some low cost forsaken without as much work makes me excited The new update is going to make pursuing an imago even more worthwhile I feel like.
I got a couple of questions. tbh, these questions and the lack of in-game response feels extremely annoying. the game is easy to play, hard to master, but it's not skill, it's planning, to plan you need information, information which we don't have.
i got imago quickening on day 35 of a first loop with a custom character i wanted to tempt so it had tier 2 shame broken and tier 1 pleasure iirc so i am fairly experienced with the game.
1: how does friendship rivalry works when a vulnerability is broken (not by player, via chosen background) and significant values. its annoying to work hard to maintain friendship then suddenly boom, i break 1significant vulnerability and now one chosen has 2 rivals.
2: during the events of day 15/30/45, how do they work in relation to vulnerabilities?
knowing how the interview works could greatly help me plan things from day 1, since, for instance, i could break chosen 3's core vulnerability and get tier 3 but i could also break every chosen's up to tier 2 but to achieve that i would need to beeline chosen 3 from the get go.
3: during chosen downtime, how does the teaming mechanic works EXACTLY, so that we players can better influence the chosen.
for instance, if you want to tempt a chosen, the evil energy they will give you will remain low unless they team up with a higher broken hero, so instead of getting +15 15 5 you gain +15 +30 evil energy.
i know it changes depending on the vulnerability broken, so if you break 1 morality and the other's morality they will team up.
it also has a much more noticeable impact early game when you can only spit and stuff, no surround.
4: how does orgy work in relation to vulnerabilities and temptation... Because tbh, it feels weird to be able to get MUCH higher values, in the tier 3-4 broken vulnerabilities, when tier 1 or 2 isn't even broken.
as such, you can easily get tier 3 broken but tier 1 is intact.
5: is there a way to figure out how forsaken attack pattern and stats are influenced precisely? see image for detail. i know that if i increase hate and anti, i will get a hate and anti combat style, but it won't tell me the combat compatibility.
it gets even worse when you finish a loop 10-15 days before you invade another city and you have a chance to train your forsaken but... you don't know what kind of chosen you'll face.
is their combat style influenced by their personality/corruption stat? i know default combat is chosen by personality and corruption, but, i don't know if a low hostility corruption faces badly against a chosen (poor, good, average) because the combat style hostility doesn't suit them or because it's just hard af to train them in hostility to begin with.
6: is there any guide for forsakens other than the guide that comes with the game?
My tactic is basically get a forsaken to be as high tier disgrace as possible so they cost like 8 or less energy to deploy, train them a lot, fight chosen until you get eager breader, weakness sense and focus, then save it all up to send the forsaken and wreak havoc, break as much vulnerability as possible for the next 2 fights.
the problem with over reliance on forsaken is that once the diminishing returns hits the threshold of getting everyone unsplittable during downtime while not being able to break any more vulnerabilities with them, or maybe it's just because i don't rely much on the higher cost forsaken but its hard to plan to use them when they cost so much and i don't think they do that much more dmg tho, could be wrong or using them wrong mid to late game.
2: during the events of day 15/30/45, how do they work in relation to vulnerabilities?
knowing how the interview works could greatly help me plan things from day 1, since, for instance, i could break chosen 3's core vulnerability and get tier 3 but i could also break every chosen's up to tier 2 but to achieve that i would need to beeline chosen 3 from the get go.
you can get much, much higher than that tho, and basically ruin the interviewer's career, but i haven't been able to do that since a whole lot of prior version.
1: how does friendship rivalry works when a vulnerability is broken (not by player, via chosen background) and significant values. its annoying to work hard to maintain friendship then suddenly boom, i break 1significant vulnerability and now one chosen has 2 rivals.
I don't believe significant vulnerabilities impact/give relationship events at all, I think that's stated in the guide and I haven't had that happen to me before, do you mean core vulnerablities?
And to answer the other part, prebroken vulnerabilities are the same as if you broken them, the only difference obviously being that since it's broken beforehand if it's a minor or core vulnerability, that initial relationship event will definitely be friendly at first
2: during the events of day 15/30/45, how do they work in relation to vulnerabilities?
knowing how the interview works could greatly help me plan things from day 1, since, for instance, i could break chosen 3's core vulnerability and get tier 3 but i could also break every chosen's up to tier 2 but to achieve that i would need to beeline chosen 3 from the get go.
Like Subii said I think the interview or Day 15 is tied what core vulnerabilities are already broken at the time. I read your reply that there's a different version that ends the inteviewer's career basically. I ran a test run in cheat mode when I got home to see what I could by breaking all their core vulnerabilities up to t3 but so far the only version I got is the one I'm used to where you get the +2 EE from their core's being broken although, the chosen with the 2 core vulnerabilities gave up to +4 which I assume is because both of hers were broken. I'll test some more when I have the time but it might have been phased out at some point, I hope not though since I do want to see that kind of event tbh lol
As for day 30 and day 45, The Vacation event or day 30 I absolutely believe is tied to the current relationship between the chosen when it happens. If they are enemies they give a lot of EE, rivals give some, and friendships and above varies with corruptions I believe. I've had times where the chosen had a sinful bathtime even though they were virgins, so it was oral and anal based so it may be tied to their innocence corruption as well
Day 45 (the millitary meeting event) is tied to the amount of t4 breaks achieved at the time. I want to say its tied to whether its a core vulnerability or not but the amount of variations I've seen makes it hard to be certain.
I believe orgy gets you those extreme values since it's multipliers being stacked on multipliers basically.
There's the normal multipliers already in effect from the circumstance damages. (HATE, INJU, PLEA, EXPO)
Then you have the multipliers that go into effect from previous defilements of a chosen. ie- if a chosen that has been inseminated before in a run, once they reach 10k damage in Hate during any defiler action (solo or group) then they will get an insemination multipler, which even if the chosen has only 1 or 2 t2 broken, that's still a hefty multplier.
Then finally you have the relationship multipliers.
And since the circumstance damages are all rising to the next level and relatively the same time, the lowest circumstance penalty is avoided
Compare all that to a temptation or even a 2+ defiler action and I can understand how orgies can get to such high values so easily.
And about keeping the t1 intact despite the crazy high values. I actually noticed this some time ago around the time when tempt was first introduced in that if the chosen reaches level 3 (10k) circumstance damage in that field already as a result of things like 2+defilers or orgies, then the chosen will not do their t1 break that battle. I believe it might have to do with how t1's are designed, since they are designed to break when the chosen thinks they'll reach 10k damage, the game doesn't know what to do when they are already past 10k damage, at least that's how I think it's working and I used that to my advantage at the time.
5: is there a way to figure out how forsaken attack pattern and stats are influenced precisely? see image for detail. i know that if i increase hate and anti, i will get a hate and anti combat style, but it won't tell me the combat compatibility.

Combat Compatibility? What do you mean that specifically? Other than that how well a forsaken does against chosen is tied to their personality in my experiences. Forsaken that were low morality when they were chosen do well against chosen who also are low morality, the meek forsaken had longer turns with chosen who were also meek, etc. I think the more similarities they had in common when they were chosen, that determines the compatibility. That and now if they were former team members or not. Honestly I do agree though, at least getting a forecast of the expertise changes before you do a training action will help greatly with coming up with routines as well as understanding the strength of each action and how well they work with each other.
From the training guide and my experiences I think the only time the personality comes into play for a chosen's style is when the expertise values are very close to each other in range. other than that, expertise determines the forsaken's style

I don't think there's any guide for training forsaken, at least I haven't found one on the forum. From my experiences I share a similar mentality with you in that I try to get a very low cost forsaken as soon as possible and only unlock the first-second round of upgrades and hoard my EE until I can use my forsaken.
And I can understand your sentiment against using mid-high level forsaken as the game currently is. Other than the different dialogue and seeing the 3-4 circumstance combat styles do some damage it doesn't have a lot viability since at that point in the run, you've most likely already broken all the t1-t3 vulnerabilities and youre just getting the corruptions paremeters and EE for the t4 and final battle abilities, and you can make a crazy endgame commander for the final battle if you really wanted to.
But soon the forsaken will soon get the ability to use defiler actions (including tempt) and along with the varying benefits that come with using the punisher training on your forsaken, the recent post CSDev made about the upcoming update mentioned that the defiler multiplier will scale with the chosen's power. So The High EE costing forsaken will now be more viable, not only in a sense that they can actually reach those values compared to high disgrace, low cost forsaken, but also the forsaken that cost even more will do a ton of damage once they actually defile the forsaken.
I hope I answered some of your questions! sorry I wasn't able to explain everything since honestly I would also like to know some of them myself. Either way I hope some of this helped!
I never asked, but what is the difference between the single player and the campaign? They both seem to lead into the same kind of meeting your first Chosen.
I never asked, but what is the difference between the single player and the campaign? They both seem to lead into the same kind of meeting your first Chosen.
Singleplay is just 1 run or “loop” against 3 chosen while campaign is loop after loop with harder conditions like increased damage mitigation, superior chosen, or reduced time until the final battle
sorry kalloi, i already knew most of what you said. altough i will say this, significant vulnerability DOES impact relationships especially late game. breaking one then might turn rival into more friendly or vice-versa.
kinda happy there will be changes for costly forsaken tho.

I see! Well that's fine, at the very least the info about the next update was helpful for you and I'm happy for that!
And about the significant vulnerabilities, I legitimately never had a relationship event come from a significant vulnerability break, only from minors, cores, as well as initial distortions sometimes. I don't know if anything has changed in the updates but the guide still states that significant vulnerabilities do not impact relationships at all.
For it to be well done the game would need a bit of a revamp, adding some kind of direct interaction with the Chosen that doesn't involve combat. Pregnancy would either be trivial and happen through those extremely short scenes otherwise.
I remember a long time ago when I asked the Dev for an alternative corruption path and he confirmed we'd get something like that. I was thinking of interactions that you can do by using EE out of combat, like events that progress through repetition and lead to pregnancy or convincing them to change sides, but I feel like his idea of "an alternative path" ended up being the distortions.
The final battle happens because of demon energies accumulating with battles and stuff, you could have the game cycle being extended by an extra day for each day not spent on a battle or something. A coherent explanation can be used fairly easily. Not to mention that the demon lord should have a pregnancy acceleration spell or two.
I don't understand how to train Tempt forsaken; you need to do the obedience trainings to raise their corruption level, but raising their obedience will remove the bonus from having Tempted them right? Am I misunderstanding how the training system works?
