do the creator abandon this? usually there is 1 update every month but even on his patreon page all i see is W.I.P now

He's shifted focus to his other game lust village. If he will ever come back to corruption, is unknown.
Game would be great without total clusterfuck of good amount of events you can`t even keep track of.I like the idea very very very much, but it needs a good amount of polishing and user-friendly interface with a tracking system.
P.s and with the repetative gameplay - amount of clicks you need to do to make a progress is just annoying.

So people new to this game should understand, Mr.C a few years ago took a few updates break from Corruption to work on Lust Village, then eventually started working on Corruption full time again. He may have just needed a break from Corruption for a bit.
I'm not saying the same thing will happen again, but its likely he just wants a break from Corruption.

Honestly I think perfectly understandable burn out happens and changing focus to a new project that will hopefully better then his first game means better future updates for this game. I think people are just a little frustrated since his not the type of dev to interact with the community or give regular updates .

It does have a lot of content, true... But there's also a lot of unfinished content that I have grave doubts will ever get done.
