Soooo im guessing there still no way to change girls appearances in game or with cheats? Really not a fan of makeup.

Is there an interesting overarching story in this? Are there any standout routes with good writing? I did a couple of girls including the aunt and it wasn't anything too great.

Not at all. If you are looking for that you should play something else, this game is just about corrupting all the women.
