I get it, it's definitely a childish move on their part, but I'm just surprised people are actually reacting to it. Maybe i'm just not actually invested in the story, as I'd say I probably only pay attention to what is essentially the "cliffnotes version" of the plot. I'm really only interested in porn aspect, so as soon as I get my fill I just exit the game and do something else.
Some of us did like Kinu before Tobs showed his hand. The romantic/familial parts in the game are porn for my heart and half reason I bother with this game. Named children with fleshed out interactions are rare in these games so I got real invested in her before her leaving that damn orb, only to be told being invested is wanting to fuck your daughter. I don't care if it's the reaction they wanted. I'll shit on them every time for it. Did teach me to ignore any more of his shit atleast. I haven't bothred with Kinu in forever.

What are the consequences for the choice in the church with Sanders and Selima? Like does anything happen whether they agree or not?

While I heavily agree with this sentiment and wish people would stop bringing it up whenever Kinu is mentioned(meaning their spite-writing is working), it does go to show how childish and immature the devs behave. Shit happened over half a decade ago and it's still living in his head rent-free. And the situation was completely his own fault in the first place.

Truly a :WaitWhat:moment.
Its sad because a lot of writers I've interacted with, behave in this way. (some I've merely heard nasty rumors about) They're borderline OCD or neurotic. I use to think it was merely a rumor that writers tend to have an anti-social personality, or at least over blown. But many aspiring writers I've meet in college and some of the editors/writers I've worked with can be petty, about the smallest things. Recently one of the people editing some of work spent all last month taking petty snipes at me. Going back to some of my older and taking shoots at me there as well. Even when I tried to have a private conversation with them so we could sqaush the problem, they spent whole entire conversation calling me names, and never tried to address the issues between us. So, unfortunately this seems to be normal thing for writers. Savin and Co aren't unique in this regard. The problem I have with this is it always damages the story in some way. Sure this is a porn game, but still doesn't mean it can't be done well.

Huh, I see this is still chugging along.
Did CoC2 finally add what both CoC and TiTS promised repeatedly, yet failed at? (And then went "We need to look forward, not backwards!" and swept it under the rug after several years.

Ie: Finish the playable female races at start. Instead of only finishing the males to have unique anatomy, and making all female races "human, but maybe with cat ears". Along with actually giving female PC's stats, perks and etc. Instead of making every single physical trait male exclusive. Along with all stats and most unique dialogue being exclusive to you playing male. (Ie: All size, species and orgasm ratio being exclusive to male. While you only had a vague "orifice" stat for your vag. But also couldn't cum.)

As, it really wasn't fun when the offered "solution" in those games were "Just play a male and everything works and there are no missing features, gosh!"... Heck, there's even several NPC's that went all "You're NOT a dude? Pffft, fucking loser." in game xD

Double 'writers are retards'.
Recently had some 'aspiring' writer asked me to read his shit and critique it. In the text he used some local to his country type of wood, dont remember name now. Since Im not from there I was forced to google wtf it was. I said to him something like "dude, you used %name here% which I have no idea what it is, I had to google what it is to not lose any context. Change it to something more 'universal' like oak/pine/etc." and the answer to this was "why are you such a dickhead?".
And when I pointer to error in plot (character in one point know information that would be revealed further down the plot) he was like "yeah, Im not listening now".

The opposite. They took something female characters could use in CoC1/TiTS ,ovipositors, and nerfed it to be only cosmetic. Still works for NPCs of course cause it wouldn't be a Fen game without bugs trying to lay eggs in you.

I'm kinda new to CoC2, tried it at the very beginning, but since then i see a lot of content got added.
So, how much of actually corruption content is there? I mean, compare to CoC, which i played a many hours(days?) with and without mods.

Very little. Atm there are around 6 or 7 corruptible NPCs, most of which have little to no content.

There's stuff planned, but there's a general ambivalence towards that kind of thing.

I don't think that's all writers at all. At least in the porn game category I have seen some pretty alright writers who aren't really terrible people at all.

I think this is mostly a porn game writing problem. The kind of person who wants to write smut for a niche game has to be not very normal to begin with.

Lmao no offense. I think the kinda guy who plays CoC is not very normal either. So us all.

Building an entire livelihood on porn game writing is something different from just a hobby though, it's no wonder all of the writers are eccentric and full of issues. They're stuck in a very insular and fetishistic, niche community. All they listen to and talk to are some of the weirdest fucks you can find around. It's bound to fuck with one's mind.

I have doubts many of these writers have any social net or life outside of these niche, fucked up communities that they dwell in and build a career out of. They have to be super involved in these communities for long years to even get to that point, so they're super invested by that time.

That becomes apparent if you ever happen to watch one of Savin's DnD streams. They're actually that far invested into their fantasy smut worlds that some of those characters from their campaigns even got inserted into the game as those untouchable half god NPCs that we all know and love.
Like Hashat or that dude that runs the mercenary company.

I never said it was "all" writers. I said "a lot" of writers behave in that way. There are plenty of people who can humble themselves to take advice or don't get upset when people offer an opinion/advice. I've worked with plenty of editors who have been really helpful. (Not trying to be mean) But if you read carefully its clear I don't think everyone who writes behaves that way. I think a lot of people who are involved in any type of creative field tend to have an ego. (Keywords being "a lot") Which having an ego isn't inherently a bad thing. I think artist/writers needs that, as their value is entirely superficial. But, some artist/writers allow their ego to get to big or it is very fragile. And this is why we have all these people who get upset when people point out mistakes or offer advice.

The title is only kept for branding.

You want to have sex with Nakano, of course you’re not normal.

Well, yes, a bad ending to me, I did like it and I don't think it's a bad character, but he will marry Kinu anyway, so it will never be possible.

Also, no one who plays and enjoys this game a lot is normal.

Yeah if you made it this far down the rabbit hole at all you left normalcy behind long ago.

Porn. <----where we all started.

Porn game.

Indie early access porn game.

Indie early access text-based porn game.

Pirating an indie early access text-based porn game.

Pirating an indie early access text based porn game catered towards monstergirls and furries.

Spending time on a message board discussing and critiquing a pirated indie early access text-based furry/monstergirl porn game <----- we are here.

I dont know what the next step in degeneracy is, but I'm pretty sure it comes with a loss of voting rights...
