Modern writers: why can't the fans just stop thinking and have fun?

Modern writers have this thing where they put emotional impact above everything, even if it's at the expense of everything else. It's a pretty common sentiment that making the viewer feel something is more important than creating a cohesive product, yet it's strange because creating a cohesive product just makes emotional moments all the more meaningful. It's a very strange and honestly lazy mindset to have.

Not every straight dude is into being pegged, no.

I think I've figured out the problem with that sexable NPC's gender graph. Many of the female characters have sex options with you taking it up the ass. stuff like bug ovipositors, tails or just dildos.

I think the real problem is that a lot of the sexable females in the game are completely forgettable. The graph says there's almost 150, yet I can barely think of a dozen. Meanwhile all the futas have big commanding di-I mean personalities that demand attention.

What I want basically is Brint that acts like Brienne.

Unlikely so long as Brint has a penis. The author for those characters basically does nothing but characters who
A: Worship cock
B: Really worship cock
C: Have no actual explanation beyond why they worship that cock in particular, beyond the author writing that its, like, really good cock (as apposed to all the other cock in the game which is comparable)
Brienne's personality is worshipping you for no apparent reason. Brinte's is unlikeable to be worshipping you so long as he has a cock, as someone needs to worship it, which would be you. I don't see that author writing a cock-owner that's submissive to anyone rather than not only being a dom, but being a dom purely because they have a penis and its just so amazing they have one and wow
His characters tend to worship 1 person in particular, but that person is always 'the one with a cock'.

A lot of the girls blend together, a lot of the futa blend together, its the result of the game having < 10 dedicated writers who don't have much variance in kink. I can still remember tons of both. Most don't really have much personality that doesn't fall into 'selfish dom', 'mommy dom', 'edgy', 'overly submissive', 'whatever the player decides by grinding a lot'.
I think Garth, his son and his wife probably have the most memorable personalities since they're written as characters and not walking dildos or holes. Tellingly, their daughter, who you can fuck 5 mins in, has very little personality in comparison and barely does anything.
Her personality is basically just 'subissmive breedslut'. If you couldn't fuck her, she'd probably have a personality that didn't revolve around her role in sex.
You can fuck Garret but you have to jump through more hoops to see all of his content and he also has less personality than his parents (being summed up as: jackass full of himself outside of his mom's quest wherein his entire family remembers they're characters - during which his sister STILL barely does a fucking thing)

Oh, I get that. There are many times where champion is seemingly OK with something that I personally am not huge fan of. But I feel that NPCs genital configuration is just something we have to learn to accept. Since, really, complaining about them is silly. Not every character is supposed to appeal to everyone.



Because Brienne has basically nothing in common with Brint.
Brint is a dominant man whore that is faithful to you as Cait. While Brienne is a subby Amazon that loves you and only you (and maybe her sister). What I want basically is Brint that acts like Brienne. Maybe even pretty boying him up.
Basically this.

I'm almost certain you can't even get Thrud pregnant at the moment, I've tried for 40 in game days and nothing has changed.
nvm, took way longer than I thought it would've though, but sadly nothing else happened, no additional scenes opened up.

I think I'll go with Brienne, if I have a choice of not getting a harem I'll take it. Not to be a prude playing a porn game, but I try to immerse myself as the characters I create. If I expect her to be monogamous, I feel like my character should be as well.

Gardeford seems to have an innate talent for somehow writing every possible trope or character combination in the most generic way possible. It's probably the prose.

Trash update. On a side note Moira seems to really like this new shiny skin texture thing they're doing with every art now, not that I'm complaining, but it's getting a bit ridiculous.

Hmm. I've sort of lost track of the updates, really, I can't recall which came out when.

The shark girls update perhaps? That one was okay but nothing out of the ordinary. Maybe the Kas update? But even that didn't have much in it. Perhaps the dragon girl update? But again, while the idea is good, her execution is mediocre (skow wrote her, right?). Agnimitra is...okay.

I just realized most of the ones I can recall not being bad are just okay or mediocre at best. When was the last time I was like "fuck yeah", I genuinely do not recall.

Perhaps the Keros female version update. That one I actually genuinely liked. Which is funny, because it's from a writer I really do not like, but Tobs at least writes memorable shit, and has good execution and prose when he is not off writing pretentious pseudo poetry in sex scenes. You either like it or you don't. Skow, gardeford and the like write generic, forgettable prose, which is so much worse than just being divisive.

Honestly, I had never paid much attention to whoever the fuck that guy is, probably because he / she had never written a character I cared. But a goddess of fertility? I'm so sad. Especially so if no one else writes content for the Valks other than that guy. Good lord above it is bland.
