I get that people have reason to be upset, but the current gamer zeitgeist seems to be hate bandwagoning instead of objective criticism. The situation that this game is in is exactly the same as Starfield. It's a mediocre product that people love to shit on because they hate the creators even if it's objectively mid and has very little competition for fair comparison. A true 1 star game should be barely functional at all. This game should not be in the same category as Cloud Meadow.
But if we don't resort to hate bandwagons, patreon money milking scams will continue to proliferate unopposed.
There are so many great porn games dying in obscurity, because they don't resort to predatory patreon tactics.

Honestly speaking, I don't really hate CoC2 nearly as much as a lot of people on this thread seems to. Most text based porn games are even shittier than this and there's not a lot of games that appeal to my impreg fetish as much as this one.
