Is it just me or are the comment sections in nhentai and 9anime full of the most snowflake minded people?
of course the type of breed in both sites is different but at the core these people just seem so stupid to me.

e.g. that new anime this season "I shaved and brought a HS girl home" the comment section is full of ppl shedding virtual tears for the girl's stupid decisions, ppl fighting each other over whether the girl was raped or did prostitution; despite the fact she willingly traded her body for room n board. And people generally being stupid (like wanting to castrate a fictional character who traded staying in his house for sex to a willing if stupid and emotionally distraught girl). And this isn't one instance, these ppl will dog pile any who disagree with their white knight stances.

It's a drama show designed to create and resolve conflicts about badly fictional characters. Getting emotional to the point you're fighting ppl on the internet is such a waste of time.
I shaved and brought a HS girl home is a bad example, because it's a drama.
Dramas are supposed to give people various types of emotion including disgust, resentment, anger, and pity.
If you feel nothing reading drama it's either shit or you are not meant for that genre.

I have figured out why Tobs is on the team.
If you look back through this thread people will complain about many things, but if Tobs is doing something in the same update all hate will be focused on him even if there are other terrible problems.

Tobs is a lightning rod for all hate and discontent and if he was gone that would have to be directed somewhere else

good shows always elicit emotional responses. We watch media in order to stimulate ourselves.
The problem starts when they create an echo chamber. You're either there to talk about how much you feel sorry for sayu or you're about to get argued and downvoted to hell for disagreeing with them.
I used to enjoy reading and participating in anime discussions back on this other anime site that got taken down (can't remember the name). The ppl there were pretty chill. The one's on 9anime however scare me.

Not sure if you're serious. Because on one hand I would feel bad for the guy for being the punching bag of many grievances. But on the other hand if your writing is so bad and actions so antagonistic that you make others hate you regardless of the product you present, that's on him then.

Back when I was doing my bachelors I had a friend who was just trash at writing. If there was a group assignment and there were multiple ppl who knew him in said class, they would legit try to push him on groups other than theirs.
I had the misfortune of doing several assignments with him. But I never hated him because the guy knew his shortcomings and was always really polite about it.
After a few times of me giving him sass for doing the absolute bare minimum and him acknowledging it and he always offered to do other things to make things easier for the group, I felt pretty bad about it.

Moral of the story: even if a person was really bad at something, being honest and open, doing your best to improve and trying to work together will at the very least end with no animosity being bred.

Really wish writers today took a lesson from him.

Yeah I know they 'update it regularly', but the fact that there's very little to show for it besides a couple busts, maybe a sex scene or two- projects like these should've been done in a year or two. If patreon takes 1% and he didn't expand the team after the money started rolling in, no wonder why it's stagnating. There always seems to be a point of no return where unless they agree or 'mesh' well with the creator or actively are writing content, the lack of constant, new punchy expansions besides oh yeah new sex scene woo is really underwhelming. Next you're going to tell me that a porn game following in CoC and TiTs footsteps hasn't suffered plodding fatigue. Roadmaps or not, I bet they could get that shit done in half the time with the same writing, coding & picture quality. Double the pay, get it done.
Assuming its simply a matter of pay is far too generous. Why would I bother finishing a game when I can get paid thousands of dollars a month to not bother? Most of the content that has been added in the last year was by other writers, some of which are not even on the payroll.

This is the typical 'turnaround' for independent game developers using backer-based funding. You have an explosive alpha/beta release and for a good while content comes out at a decent pace, however once you get to a certain point you see they slow down releases and basically linger around and drop something new with the speed of trickling molasses.

I don't put money behind Indy titles if they do not have an actual release deadline in place, and they show they're actively working on the game instead of complaining about an 'art block' when you can still polish up old work and do typo fixes even with an 'art block'.

Too many excuses, and little progress. All while being paid anyway.

Sure, but the same echo chamber effect happens when you frequent the same communities over and over again. Outside of the hentai/anime community, no one gives a shit about NTR because they don't even know what the term means. In other communities, COC2 would be considered a furry game and banned on sight.

That'd be true, but he's only really despised here. If you go to the Fen forums he's actually pretty well appreciated. Sure, even Fen fans have got fed up at times with Kinu Quest, but they play it off by saying he's a good writer if he can illicit that emotion.
I'm still of the opinion that he's only on the team to pad out patch notes. Just sift through each backer patch from Mayternity till now and take away The Observer and you see how much he adds. I was only able to count 4 times. Two of which the main draw the main addition was Eubicha and knocking up Elthara, and 1 was a literal glorified patch just adding images.

I do enjoy it on both ends. One loosing side, I do enjoy when I know that our character can suffer the consequences and it makes it all that more sweeter when you win. I also find it hot. But only for bad ends seems like a appropriate way to do it. Since, well, that way you do not rial up people. Being defeated is supposed to be a punishment. Just one that some people enjoy.

But on other hand, I also enjoy doing it to other people, since, it is a huge reward. Which Is why one of my favorite scenes in TiTS is you fucking that goblin couple at that garbage planet. Just making one watch while you screw another makes it seem more fucked up. Especially when a supposed "hero" is doing it.Do wish they would add one for latter case.

Eh, not first one. What is it? And does Brint have one.
Yeah people can say what they want about TiTS but it has a lot of scenes and a lot of variety, both for doms and subs. My personal favorite was getting to turn Sera into my bitch. I loved giving her the carrot and stick treatment. Somehow I don't see us getting anything nearly as satisfying in CoC2 (I think Wsan was talking at some point about writing a dom similar to Evelyn who you can turn the tables on which might be the closest). While on the topic of TiTS, am I the only one who feels that for the most part the writing in TiTS felt more uniform. In truth I haven't played any update since back when Fen was having a mental breakdown last year and the only updates were on his mental health situation and not the game, but I can only recall specific characters, like the Subscribestar ''nekomata'', which stuck out like a sore thumb. Meanwhile in CoC2, besides people mistaking Savin and Tobs, its more freeform and authors add their own personal touch, for better or worse. Not sure if I'm just biased but I thought I might as well throw it out there.

I'm pretty sure it's the other way around, Tits has far more writers and far more one-time subscriptions from one-off writers, it's far less cohesive than CoC. Part of why it has so much variety. That's a double edged sword, YMMV kind of a deal.

I also really liked Sera's content. Wish she just had more, or that her pregnancy scenes were easier to access. Can't wait to pull a Sera on Evelyn...though I clicked No for Evelyn once and now I can't meet her anymore so I wonder what they will do about that.

I wouldn't go as far as call tobs a hack. He's just aiming too high with his writing and fails in 2 regards: 1) I don't think he is at the skill level where he can do the type of character writing he's aiming for and he is using drama and tragedy as crutches; 2) He's trying to do it in a text based porn game;
As far as personality he likes to be a troll antagonist and live rent free inside people's heads but that usually doesn't end well for people like that. Just look at J.K. Rowling's fall from grace.

Yeah I guess that was probably my selective memory at work, especially because I didn't really interact with content I wasn't into, especially oversized stuff.

I just got sick of nearly every char having tits bigger then their heads and cocks longer then their torsos. Never mind ballsacks that would immobilize someone. Hell, same problem with TiTS really. Is why I dropped both and removed the website from my bookmarks. Kept hoping things would get better, but it never does. So I bailed. If you aren't into massive tits cocks and ballsacks, you're in the wrong place.

He ain't really trolling chief, you can easily get under his skin like bubble and Savin. This is why echo chambers are bad because you can never improve when everyone is a fucking yes man towards you. If Savin was a competent project leader he would have a strict vision on the product and pull the reigns on people stepping out of line.

I would tell Tobs to ease back on how he treats the PC because at the end of the day, they are the ones who matter the most in this story. Name a good RPG where you are seeing special snowflake OC's constantly upstaging the PC without consequence from the PC. If the PC was like Shepard from ME, I would renegade all those shit talking foxes. Takahiro? My man gets a right hook to the face if he tries to shit talk after taking the L.

"Hey! Are you guys excited for the minotaur city? Well too bad here's an obnoxious new wilderness zone you have to go through first. No we're not actually releasing the city too. Fuck you, suck on these bad ends."

Really do be feeling like the fen/sav crew put more effort into the losing than the winning.

I am not sure if this is a bug. I found that player cannot deal tease damage to Taldahs(Centaur chief/ahmri father), but companions can.

We finally got new content! With the loads of breeding content last month and now this, it seems like Savin's a much more consistent dev than fenoxo. Still not worth paying, though. Lol.
