They even took our favorite facepalm reaction.
Adult site full of manchildren or smth? :KEK: :KEK: :KEK: :KEK:
i what do you expect being in a den of degenerates? :p

for real tho the facepalm reaction was nice.

But to bring this back to CoC2 is it at all worth it to soul bond under the context of combat? Eg will it actually provide a combat bonus at all or is it completely worthless?

I suspect they'll continue to be pretty mid at best to worthless more often than not.

This isn't a power fantasy after all

If they're giving us a bonus, it'll be like a pat on the head.
We ain't getting gainz.

Kitsune: you get ONE power, which used to be the best but was toned down into meh

Valkyrie: you get TWO powers, one weak dmg at-will attack and a Ultimate that is a single target but targetable version of the Warrior Ultimate, also the Ultimate gets bonus effects if you have the Dawnsword or/and the Guldring equipped (but once again, minor buffs)

also i recall some abilities check if you are a Valkyrie and deal more damage (or have a increased "effect")

but it has been a while since i went code diving and dont remember which and how many abilities do this (but i recall the effect is minor, +5 base dmg)
and there is also the chance they removed it in some random patch

did you just give yourself all the powers? because ive done that before and its fun until you run into the powers that are either racially locked or cause the game to enter a softlock state.
not all powers (learned that lesson in Skyrim)
just nine more to fill the empty slots but not enough to "overflow" pass the Back button
also, 14 powers is enough for me to have all the utility i want and have "thematic" powers

ah I used the console a while back to legit pull something like `Powers.foreach(x => Player.givepower(x))` it was complete madness.

Arent this, TiTs, and whatever other projects they have just all pretty much the same game with slightly different paint, all to get people to pay their patreon as they trickle content occasionally in the patches. While the games are absolute shitshows of patchwork content and mess of stuff added over 10 years and almost fitted together, while pandering to the most paying patrons fetishes?

thats not their goal, only goal is filling pockets with patreon money
Hmm that's a bummer if this game got the same modded treatment the first game got it would make this game actually more enjoyable
I think the honest reason why they allowed the first game to be "moddable" was because of possible version control choice and because they were like "if anyone besides us can compile this mess then so be it".

If i remember correctly they didnt provide any real kind of sln or project file you could just load up in a program and compile the game. (plus at the time they were for sure using an adobe product that cost money).

And also they saw the fallout from allowing the first game being moddable (rule 7 issues aside), it lead to abuse of thier IP/OCs in ways that robbed the good will they possibly had for the community.

Honestly the way i interpet their anti modding stance is simple. They are control freaks that dont want ANYONE else to touch their precious porn game because their fragile sense of ego will crumble. Its a shit attempt at mainting control when, letting the community mod the game would make it even more popular/connect the communities etc etc.

Now if you really want to make the argument that shit like the hgg mod was huuuuuge bad rep for the game i would have to disagree since, thinking about it logically,if you are retarded enough to mistake a MOD of a game for the full game itself then the devs shouldnt care.I mean nobody on 4chan tried to make it look like their mod was the OG game or anything like that. They were actually quite vocal about it being BETTER than the original, not that it IS the original,so realistically they have no reason to NOT let the community mod the fuck out of their games other than,as i said, keeping their fragile sense of control intact.
