It also requires 0 effort if you just throw a dart at pages of the "Monster Girl Encyclopedia" to decide what to make your next alien race. Just give it a unique name so that space pirate girl is a ___ instead of a space ork.
To be fair, that's also what I'd probably do but I wouldn't pretend I was doing anything more creative than that.
There are some actual original aliens in the game, however, it is a "semi"-furry game so they're in the minority.
Also got to keep in mind that there probably isn't a lot of demand for actual bizarre alien aliens. Personally I'd rather read about boning dog girls in a text based porn game than fucking face huggers and shit.
No one ever talked about bizarre aliens. There surely is a middle ground between generic furry stuff and full blown xenomorphs, right? Like the Asari or Draenei. (though to be fair i'm pretty sure the game has a race that pretty much just are Draenei) But you get my point.
Yeah but the thing here is that pretty much all the middle ground sexy aliens are already done so if Fen and the team wrote purely them people would be complaining how about this alien is a copy and that one is just a mix of a this and that. Dzaan for an example have nothing to do with elves except for the pointy ears yet everyone just criticize them of being space elves.
The awesome thing about designing aliens is that you can make them look however you want with no restrictions. Saying that all middle ground type aliens have already been done is pretty laughable. And maybe if whomever designed the Dzaan made a bit more effort into differentiating them from elves, then they wouldn't be called space elves. Not that them being space elves wasn't the point, since their own species description in the codex states that other non human races have a hard time telling humans and Dzaan apart because they look so similar. Much like elves in fantasy settings.
There's coc mods with that system, it ends up not really being an issue after the early game.
The only sci fi/fantsay furry game where the humanoid and monster creatres actually look unique I've seen is https://f95zone.to/threads/teraurge-v2-13-meandraco.8935/, so I guess you might enjoy it.

My character fucks pretty much anything that moves and looks cute, so its cool with me. Still want to be the only one to bloat her with babies though.
I've seen plenty of anal devastation over the fact that she's not up to be your own personal waifu ready to drop her whole belief system for you, up to and including people calling Savin a cuck for writing her that way (would writing a waifu who only fucks you, the reader, make him -not- a cuck in their eyes? How does -that- make sense?), but Cait being the opposite of the usual healer girl in [name a RPG] is what makes her stand out. From them, at least, she's basically a repackaged Anno.
