see. i don't mind if a woman takes the sexual reins, that i don't mind, but try to humiliate me even remotely and theirs no barricade strong enough to prevent me from leaving the premise!
"Woman takes the sexual reins" isn't femdom, but just basic give-and-take sex with anyone who isn't a dead fish. Domination (regardless of gender) goes quite beyond that.

that would be like someone who enjoys face-sitting and gets the experience ruined by a sudden case of flatulence.
You know now that I think about it, this exact thing happens a disturbing amount in femdom games :HideThePain:.

OP's wording is vague but as long as it's more than just a sexual position, I don't see why it wouldn't be femdom. What exactly is your definition of it?

"as long as it's more than just a sexual position" would be a crucial part; the way OP worded it made me think they're talking about basic situations where it is no more than that or simple requests for, say, some oral sex or prompts like "faster!". Because if we accept these are cases of "domination" we'd arrive to conclusion that *all* sex is domination/submission, whereas these words are typically reserved for specific subset of sex activities.

Domination for me would involve both taking control and making the fact of having it, and the submission of the other person(s), at least a partial focus. That goes beyond taking merely sexual reins.

I've looked for other text games in the vein of CoC1/2/TiTS and I can't really find any that are as good. Maybe one or two are comparable but they don't really fill the same niche either.

It's like The Sims where everyone thinks it should be easy to beat EA because they're so terrible and lazy now but then you look at the supposed competitors and those somehow manage to be even worse if they even manage to release anything at all.
Ehhhhhhhh....depends????
What do you mean by 'in the vein of' and 'niche'?
Quote-unquote open world?! Lilith-'sorry for the lack of progress this month'-throne and flexible-'furry to the bone marrow'-survival.
Ability to transform self into horrific monstrosity?! Y-yeeeeeees, but there are probably some niche, unpopular 'make yourself looks like a nightmare' games.

Well if we're being honest, the people dissatisfied with these games are just a loud minority.
Not sure about 'minority'.
According to old messages here there was a 4chan thread, which died due to everybody there gave up on this game.
Plus in non english language segment I encountered 'its pretty meh' opinions. So its not like its just 10-12 people here that doesnt like it.

Think of the reasons why people like tragedies and sad endings in movies. Negative emotions are things that people enjoy/seek out in lots of contexts.

And opposing forces can enhance each other. Salt on sweet foods make them taste sweeter, pain can make pleasure feel stronger, etc. You get a mix of shame and guilt and loss mixed in with the feelings of pleasure and general sexiness, and for a certain segment of people it enhances the experience.
Thanks for further trying to explain something its appreciated. I guess for some people its just really hard to understand fetishes and kinks that don't appeal them. I try my best which is why I can sort of understand why vore/gore and scat exist as its forms of empowerment and humiliation. In the case of vore and gore that is something you definitely cannot do in real life so while I personally don't care for it I understand why it exists.

I do understand the competitive appeal for the genre if you were to argue in that context. For example there was 1 game which I can't remember the name of but I will try to describe that is on here. Where the original premise of the game was the MC vs the step dad in a summer camp setting where if you the player made the wrong choices you can lose the girl/girls to the step dad. However they completely scrapped the NTR element to the game and I think since the game was originally built around the premise it ended up hurting the game. Also power Vacuum is another big game that has the less experienced MC compete against his more experienced and twisted grandfather.

I don't want to go too off topic so I will just write off that type of NTR as just people seeking something more realistic to satisfy their maschostic urges as some people prefer their escapism to be grounded in reality. Overall it just goes to show in general there really does need to be more fem dom for straight men that is more on the normal side rather sprinkling kinks all over it. I think the fact that men having their girlfirend stolen from them is more popular than a man being stolen from their girlfriend proves there is a market for it. Though if anyone does know of any game which is about a female protag stealing a man away from his girlfriend I would love to try it out or a male protag that gets stolen from his girlfriend.

Also trying the new Valk content so currently what is the pregnancy status.
Muscle sub Thrud can get pregnant I think but can't remember if its maternity duty only.
Futa or dickgirl Annika can she get MC pregnant?
The new valk Eira can she get pregnant? Also what is type is it for donation due to maternity duty or for the MC's family?

Seconding this; actually, the one i'd like to see the most is "boyfriend gets stolen from female protagonist", since it potentially fits so well together with the much more common "female protagonist turns into a turbo slut" theme, as possible incentive for the MC's change (to keep her boyfriend interested) instead of the usual "you must bring usssssss millionsssss of dollarssssss every week or elssssse". But i have yet to see such a thing. So, if anyone knows of a specimen, please do share.

While we're on the monster girl topic: Why the hell did the devs pick such boring companions in terms of races? A catgirl, dogboy(owait), orc, cowgirl, kitsune, human witch, and bunny boy? Talk about boring. And the actually interesting ones (Atugia, Azy, Agni) don't even give you a real reason to care that much about 'em.

Gimme some fuckin' hellhounds and lamias to adventure with smh my head.
There's nothing wrong with vanilla race. But yeah this game lack ocean creature like Shark and etc

I mean 4chan in general is a VERY small minority of people. Doubly so if we're just talking about one consistent thread which typically only have around a hundred regular posters(depending on the board and topic). For every person that dislikes the game enough to post about it, they probably have 10 patrons to make up for that.

To answer both of you: It's a trending tag for Japanese voice works(think r/gonewildaudio but by professional japanese VAs and editors) and is the plot for a decent amount of doujins. It's called reverse NTR. Here's a few I've come across:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
There's even a game that was made for the genre but it's not translated yet, though.
Sorry if all of this is meaningless to you since they're from the guy's perspective, I don't think there's anything out there that shows it from a feminine perspective so I gave you the next best thing.

While I like all of them, I highly recommend the last in each category. Trust me when I say you can still get something out of the voice works even if you don't understand Japanese if you just skip around and listen to the lewd parts.

Sorry for nerding the fuck out over a porn genre, I just really like it in case you couldn't tell.

you have no idea how often i came across an animation that suddenly added some "green clouds" or some other questionable fetish that left me wondering "how can someone get off on this?" it certainly ain't me, i'm gonna need some brain-bleach

Proofs how little i know about sexual intercourse. now i'm left wondering where the "give and take" ends and the "domination" begins. and where it stops being dominant and just becomes outright sexual assault.

At the risk of sounding flippant i'd say it becomes domination when there's a song and dance associated specifically with taking and/or holding the sexual reins, to use your wording, and one party is holding these reins for prolonged time, rather than trade them casually back and forth during the intercourse as moods strike.

and where it stops being dominant and just becomes outright sexual assault.
It becomes assault where the consent ends and its lack is ignored. It's what safe words are for, since it can be difficult to discern when a "no" is an actual "no" and not just part of the act/game.

It stops being domination and turns into sexual assault when you ignore the safe word and keep going. If you don't have a safeword in the first place you are probably already over the line.

In the vein of a simple text RPG with character creation a decent variety of content. I already know about those two games and don't consider them great competitors for the same reasons you said.

I say CoC/TiTS fit a niche because most text games are either pure vanilla or overwhelmingly focused on a specific fetish. Like I'm not into TF fetish whatsoever so if CoC was exclusively a TF game I wouldn't like it, but that's just one optional part of the game, and the way it's implemented serves a functional purpose for character customization even if I don't care for the fetish aspect.

CoC2 sold 16000 copies in the first two months it was on Steam, and that was 4 years ago now.
On top of that, it's sitting at 6500 patrons on Patreon. There's probably some crossover.

So considering you can assume more people have bought ii in 4 years, and neither of those numbers account for all the people playing the public version for free, I'd say CoC2 probably has an audience at around 30k people, and that's probably lowballing pretty hard.

This place plus the 4chan thread ( and there was probably a lot of crossover there anyway) combined probably barely cracks the triple digits, if that.

It's definitely a vocal minority. It almost always is in these types of situations.

Yes, there are at best 20 or so persons here, including those who post once in a two week something like 'yoooo, guys, still shitting on this game? great job guys, you make your fellas proud!!!'.
But amount of peoples that are disappointed in a game, in one way or another, are relatively high. Not something like 50% of whole fanbase, of course, but I seen discussions like '-:seen that coc got sequel, coc2, should I try it? -:nah bro, it pretty meh, first one is better, try it with mods', without any 'devs should eat a bag of crispy dicks!!!!!11111' negative.
