You know I really hate when people put words in my mouth to argue a point. It makes it impossible to take them seriously. Not once did I talk about TiTs combat. I don't like TiTs that much in the first place.

Design decisions can be bad you know. And my argument was based on the fact that the game is called Corruption of Champions 2. Which would mean it is not unreasonable to expect the game to allow solo play as it is the center focus of the original. It doesn't help that the game doesn't tell you that you that solo play is not a thing despite giving you the option to have 0 party members right after the tutorial. But please by all means don't pay any attention to what I just said and tell people what I'm thinking since you know so much about me.

How much content is currently in the game? How many hours can I put in atm?

Depends on what you're into. If you go for all the straight/futa/trap/gay scenes I'd say you can clog through 25 hours (I'm a slow reader though).

I never read area descriptions and some of the Kitsune den area descriptions are a page long or the anime style introductions/combat logs during fights though. And never read defeated scenes (which there are plenty of non game over ones)

I think they meant transforming pure furries to humans with some ears and tails. Like Amily and Catherine in CoC 1 I guess but that's something that won't happen, the bakers crowd is pure furry.

Savin wanted to make his own CoC game on Renpy engine but ditched it to work on something else, 4chan users that time had a big hate boner for Fen over some of his decisions so some banded up to form a dev team after Savin gave them permission to use whatever leftovers there were on the abandoned project. Now called Slablands, I tried it once and the Renpy engine really is bad for a text based game got bored after 30 min since the writing and story were pretty lackluster.

Jesus, that thread is an even bigger shitposting hellhole than I remember. Absolutely no progress is being done on the game whatsoever.

4. Furry? What exactly counts as furry?

Characters with a bestial/animal nose and mouth or mostly bestial/animal body (including torso) count as furry. So your cat girl CAN have cat eyes and cat ears, but CAN'T have little pink nose (usually referred to as a "button nose"). Same goes for insect girls. Your mantis girl CAN have scythe arms, but she CAN'T have a bug head like a thri-keen. Your dogboy CAN have fangs and a fat dogdick complete with knot, but CAN'T have a muzzle.

Remember: for the face, when in doubt check the mouth and nose out.

Things like centaurs, satyrs, and lamias are allowed because they have humanoid torsos. So horsepussy? Allowed, but a normal deer body with a human head plonked on the neck? Weird and more importantly not allowed. The reverse is also banned (Anubis with his human body and jackal head) because of the muzzle.

If a character can transform completely into an animal (a dragon-girl who can transform into an actual dragon) they're still allowed as long as they don't break the furry/bestiality rule. So you can fuck her when she's a monstergirl but not when she's in full dragon form.

If this blurb still doesn't answer your question as to where Slablands stands on a particular character idea and if it's considered furry, ask the creator or general.

I wasn't disagreeing with you. When I said "TiTs combat style" it was in the context of the post I was replying to above where I mentioned TiTs, and your mentioning of companions vs solo style of combat. I was supporting the idea that some people like solo fighting, and some people like companions.

Yes, I do know design decisions can be bad. I just don't think the decision to make combat solo was a bad decision.

hmmm i try to play the game ....but it just white screen....is there any problem im not aware of???

I had a similar issue at one point. How did you unpack the .zip? If you just unpack it into a general folder for h-games like I did instead of its own dedicated CoC folder, some files will be scattered and you won't be able to play the game until it's all put into its own folder.

Basically:
Extracting directly into Games folder results in loose files.

Moving .zip file into Games, then extracting into CoC folder, then putting loose files into the final CoC II folder results in a functioning game.
(I use 7zip, so I'm not entirely certain if this is 100% applicable to all scenarios, but it's worth a shot.)

The loose files should still be somewhere in your Games folder. Since mine is packed with a bunch of different subfolders for each game, anything that's not a folder gets sorted all the way to the bottom. Take a look around there, maybe you'll find some random files that aren't where they should be.

Jokes aside though most of this shit could've been side stepped or expanded had they actually given a lick to coders and a scratch to content creators/writers beyond the current meta they're going with. As is, condoning or endorsing stuff they do like or find in line with the game has never been an issue it's just a matter of implementation and the lack of progress all this time is simply due to limited time constraints or not wanting to open up to a wider public. When it's 'Done' a couple years from now, people will have made some attempt by then, so futile point? No, I don't think so. It's mainly just to show that while what content is okay it's easily outdone by community & 99% fall short of the mark. I'm not hoping for a solution to a problem that doesn't exist, I'd just like to see Savin just open the game up.

random question here guys but what would you say was the easiest class for you to beat this game with (including the Glacial Rift) thus far? i'm cut between the Warrior and Black Mage as in both runs they just destroyed about anything (granted i used an unorthodox warrior that was all about Ranger's Bow and archer skills, would've used a thief but the skills i selected not taking advantage of "twist the knife" passive from the Thief and my lack of speed made the Warrior a better bow user).

Leorah will teach you if you get some Wyvern's Venom for her once, click the option "give venom" for her sidequest when she asks you to get some (is the second time you visit her) and then she'll teach you 2 archer skills in return, the next times you go for more skills she'll teach them for money like any other trainer npc, several of the Archer skills are good but IMO Sure Shot (level 4 skill needs 1 turn to charge (same as Whitefire) that makes an attack that's impossible to miss) & Crowd Control literaly worked as a killer-combo for me, my warrior did around 120-150 damage each time it used Sure Shot and Crowd Control was a great AoE move...until i replaced it with Fan of Blades (buying the Kunoichi Outfit from the Kitsune's tree will gift you the "Fan of Blades" skill), just made an all around range nightmare of ma warrior char.

I've done 2 or 3 black mage runs. Black Mage is...pretty bad. You don't have much damage other than the Grease/Fireball combo. Your summon is ass. Banishment is really powerful though. Pretty much the only thing BM has going on for him other than the mental attacks, which I admit I haven't tried despite my copious experience with the class. Maybe they are its most powerful tool and the class is meant for utility, because it sure as shit isn't damage.

Warrior has a decently high damage output and can easily breeze through the game. Ranger is good too.

In my current save I just turned on easy mode 'cuz frankly it's a smut game and the combat is serviceable, but that is about it. It's pretty good as far as porn game combat systems go but frankly I don't play the game for a mediocre turn based combat experience.

Honestly Cait is a hit or miss when it comes to combat for me, i like the character but her A.I is terrible for a support, guess i should try a run with manual control over what they do during a fight.

if you wanna go solo then TITS or the first COC, if you are ok having a party following you around then this one.
Also how comfortable are you with dickgirls? if you can't stand htem then go COC 1, if you're ok with them then COCII, if you are into them then TITS
