I've gone into more detail before, but many things about TiTs are a response to everything that went wrong in CoC, amd many things about CoC2 are a clear response to what went wrong in CoC and TiTs. And the next game they keep hinting at will be a response to mistakes in CoC2, etc.

Of course, there's been some things which were overcorrections too.

But eh. I like CoC2 way more than CoC1, so, it's all good.

When u don't have a direction for your game and simply take commissions, request and randoms writing then of course things are going to be tiring or frustrating. The only real difference is that they're a bit more reserved with the selection but the strat is the same, milk commissions and update the story every few months if not years. TiTs legit has no story or throughline that is character driven but them commissions stay flowing tho

Appreciate the thought for the dick only crowd. A lot of the same genetelia/sex interaction do feel incomplete since at some point of the development, all the romance gets locked behind having kids. Oh, I understand that. I am just saying that if you are feeling worried about excluding chunk of her fans, just do not tie her romance/story progression/what have you to bearing her young.
