Just to add my two cents seeing we're on the topic of the game's content.
I got into the game around 0.2.13 and forgot it existed till the last few versions. Compared to the first, I played the enhanced mod a lot, COCII was a little confusing at first, but the UI wasn't as cluttered to me as TiTS. So I gave it another shot.
I've played through the story quite a few times and found the Kitsune Den and the Kitsune wife pretty appealing. If I'm scanning through the monstrous amount of awkward text at times, which to be frank, feels like I'm listening to the weird community college theatre kids role play DnD / Pathfinder, I can get through nearly all the content in around 6 hours or so w/o the save editor.
What's killing me about the game's progress and really surprises me too, then again it shouldn't is how much money the Patreon is pulling in for essentially a speculative title that may never get finished. Considering how much S-Purple and his team in Cloud Meadows has done with their game with largely more complex features. The devs feel like they are dragging their feet and certain parts are getting overly bloated in placed they shouldn't be while others with arguably more interesting potential are left unfinished.
One thing that drew me in to CoC 1 (picked up up when the mod had like... 500k follows/likes) was how full the world felt. Some parts smaller than others but each location felt decently to well filled. Dungeons were okay. CoCII despite some parts being fuller than others gives off a very empty feeling (I understand the game is only in 0.3.18). The Kitsune Den as the only location feeling as lively as CoC 1 did and realistically there isn't a whole lot content, but the way and interactions with characters makes it feel good enough.
