My taste would be the exact opposite of what someone else said, I feel feminine, overly subby, and trap males are too close to females in how they come off, and wont appeal to the majority of gay male or straight female players. I feel we definitely need more masculine almost alpha male types, muscular and strong/protective, and also loyal. My favorite character so far is Brint, because he has both qualities of being a good bf/lover (besides his sex scenes being hot, his romance scenes are very sweet and affectionate), and also being a strong stud of a manly man who can hold his own in a fight. I would love for there to be more masculine men to meet and romance/sex up in this game, though not holding my breath because again, the majority tend to dictate what gets added in.

yeah or i feel theres a way to do feminine men that.. isn't what is in game rn. like rn we mostly have super super feminine could be mistaken for women type dudes in the game. you can have pretty boys without going full feminine. i'd love to see more in betweens as well that aren't hypermasculine (brint, even though i like him and agree we need more dudes like him as well) or hyperfeminine (berwyn). just some normal looking guys.

Yeah I tend to prefer more masculine male characters as well. I mentioned it many pages ago but I'd like a stoic dom sort of character, kinda like Elyon, with a hidden stat based on respect rather than dom/sub & would lead to either a rival or ally version with romance variations within both.
That being said I also would like a new bratty dommy short king since Berwyn is kinda gone. But with a wiry figure & a pretty boy sort of face rather than being girly enough to be mistake for a woman. Personality wise he would be similar to Trash from Aloners. You could have options to challenge his dominance or just submit but it wouldn't be a permanent change, it would be a constant push & pull.

Thread, there is something I've been thinking about something from the... psychological point of view that might actually be related to CoC2. Have you heard about the inverse lewd law? It's usually related to anime and other Japanese stuff, where a mostly pure and non-lewd character gets way more lewd fanart than an already lewd character who looks primed for that sort of artwork already. The purer the character - the more they get lewded and vise-versa.
Now, in case CoC2, it's less about the artwork and more about the reputation some characters has, as well as how well they are received by the players. Judging from this thread, people quite dislike Cait and really love Brienne. Now, while many stated plenty of good reasons why that aren't related to inverse lewd law, I still feel like maybe it's another reason. Cait's entire personality is that she is a slut, and while this might be attractive to some, the fact that she is already all about being lewd sort of makes her less appealing that say, Brienne who is much more normal and wholesome.
Point is... I wonder if some CoC2's characters would be better received if they would feel less like porn-game characters and more like regular people, who have something about them that you want to lewd, but aren't too lewd by themselves.

When I first saw kiyoko I was incredibly excited from her alone because all the experiences I have with kitsunes, lewd or otherwise, from stuff like the monster girl encyclopedia, monster girl quest, kamidori alchemy meister, the yokai folk tales, ayakashibito etc, were all wonderful in some way, but the execution in coc2 is mediocre and gets steadily worse as the game progresses.
Even if someone was a fan, kiyoko and kinu have objectively fell behind multiple characters plot and kink wise, and the other kitsune are too one note or straight abrasive, like takahiro and nakano, to compete. Princess maker games were not that great to begin with, basing kinu *that* much on them was a awful plan, having so much spite around her and her creation because they got butthurt about helspawn in coc 1 is equally bad or worse.
They want to be taken seriously but also hide behind "it's a smut game lol" as a shield, so you'll have stuff like gweyr and kinus solo content, the paragraphs of den lore, cthulu mind break abyssal creatures, but then "well the numbers say we need cait to use your body as a mattress while she gets banged by others". You have writers who want to be fate stay night with more horse dongs and people who want big raccoon ladies to sit on them while a army of lizards rail them, which causes there to be people who like the lore never taken seriously, because it has plot holes or doesn't make sense, and people who want the smut reading 20 more paragraphs with literal ace attorney choice minigames or about how their children almost burnt alive.
Nah, I don't think it's savin or it would only be the negative comments. Every now and again one of the mods just purges a few pages of off topic back and forth. Happens in plenty of threads especially if there's a topic that often generates drama.

I wanna say some dialogue every now and then would have slightly improved this wall of text, but tobs doesn't know how people interact and his monologues would have just made this word dump even longer and shittier. Genuinely wonder how anyone can read all this and mantain the slightest testicular tickle, much less come out of it with him being their fave writer.

...what in the goddamn overwritten hell is this? I'm no expert on erotic writing, but this... this isn't it. The question with erotic writing is always "how do I describe sexy times sexily?" And I think his response is "make everything have a deeper meaning and make that prose flowery AF." And also making your character attracted to everything, to the point where a woman could cough and your character would describe it as the sexiest cough in history in about 3 paragraphs. This is just insufferable.
