I think what he meant by "player agency" is probably "being the protagonist", as in the end, it's technically not the protagonist's choice anymore, not even Berwynn's choice, but the player's choice, making it similar yet different, and also making it one of the many moments where the protagonist doesn't matter that much in the end

It's important to distinguish between player and character agency in this circumstance. Overall though, I couldn't care less that the PC doesn't do the changing here. It doesn't affect Berwyn's personality or pretty much anything besides just his appearance, so to get upset about it is just kind of silly to me. The PC doesn't have to be this nebulous black hole that decides literally everything in the adventure.

Most Dom characters in this game kinda suck though, i feel like Dom often just equals being an ass in this game.

There is this weird mindset in Fenoxo games that doms must have dicks and view you as sort of inferior. Obviously there are a few exceptions, but I'm just so fucking sick of seeing this kind of stuff in western porn. Shit is so binary, you hardly ever see gentle doms or power bottoms. Aftercare? What's that? Lovers being affectionate with each other but also being kinky as fuck is way more hot than some random bitch treating me like a cumrag.

Alright lemme break the ice tell me what are your most personal favorite characters in the game that aren't poorly written both companions and NPC's

Brienne and Brihaus. Brint is such a footnote to me I barely think about him when it comes to her so it's not really an issue. Berwyn, Clementine, Aileh, Arona and the she-orcs, Atani, Ahmri, Vari, Grainne, Vatia, Eubicha, cat and centaur harems, Sugo, June, and Nyze.

I used to be able to include Kiyoko and Etheryn on that list but Tobs and Savin made sure to ruin both of them for me.

I'll have to disagree here. That the player gets to make a choice at all and have that choice honored through both narrative and content, regardless of who is making it at the moment, is the definition of player agency.

I don't think there's really a right answer here imo. Imo what they meant was basically Berwyn being his own character with his own choices the player can influence instead of directly choose. Basically it's a design choice between "Does Berwyn jump off?"

Or Berwyn making his own choice depending on whether over time PC was a prick or supported him. They seem to just want a sandbox where you can do whatever good or bad you want but direct control over so much stuff sometimes messes with emotional impacts and making characters feel "realer". Even smaller stuff like failing a str check when you try to dom brienne and she takes over, is imo much more fun than instead having full player control, and whether the player had a choice or not theres not really a world where a mage overpowers a minotaur (without having a str stat). Issue is sometimes they throw in stuff just like that too where the player has unreasonable control

Favorite companion is Ryn and none of the others even come close for me. Though, its not really fair since half of them don't have as much for content.

As far as NPCs go it's my architect wife Sadakata Hotrau in first place. I have a strong weakness for the long black hair red eye combo, and I really want to sit in her messy ass lair and enjoy her company while she works.
After her, Daliza and Hethia are pretty tied for second place. Daliza's stern workface that melts away when you're alone is already top tier, and she's an anal fiend on top of that, 10/10. Hethia is just fun and is just enouh of a tsundere for it to be kinda cute without being annoying, and, unlike a certain breed, actually flat out says it's not right to call you an outsider after all you've done to help her people.

I just wish there was a middle ground. I guess it'd be too similar, but more like brienne, aggressive but loving. I'd be perfectly fine if she was an Amazon who loved PC for being an equal that'd pin you against the wall wanting snu snu, but sub mode is either mostly a doormat that isn't forward with the PC (with some weird content updates that make her do ooc ntrish stuff) or dom mode, probably the most brutal character you regularly interact with. In a world where they had an individual character corruption system, demon arona would be a complete monster. Kas' goal is 90-100% having kids and riding off into the sunset, the other demons mostly have singular goals, but arona is a particularly orcy chieftain. Sub mode basically locks her ambition down, but if you had an unchecked dom demon arona that went back to the orc mainland, and corrupted some orcs that corrupted more etc, and had a roughly organized, united, demon orc war "party", led by someone who wants to mount the world with the power and man power to do so, she's high tier villain potential.

As a villain, she'd work, it's just that as a lover s arona is close to abused etheryn with a taco, and d arona is an abusive wife beater that always has ntr content and talks about beating TF out of and assaulting party members

for me brint is one of my favorite and generally is always in my party. its just kinda hot being railed by a minotaur and sometimes carrying his kids.
Or being on top and screwing him.

i usually keep Kiyoko close because i like her better then cait. Plus she is possibly broken at higher levels. (that life steal ability is sometimes very OP).

I do wish the female brint content was a seporate charater so i could explore it without losing brint. (i have even tried to mess with flags that in thery should allow me to swap between both forms but i think they are swapping companion classes).

I will honestly admit i am here more for the furry and homosexualish content. so while the elves are fun i mostly leave ryn in the castle.
