Also, the majority of people who play this game do like that content. That's why the creators make a ton of money. 90% of players are certainly not "angry" about it. Honestly no clue why they even added that bit in when her scenes haven't been reworked afaik to accomodate that fact, plus she still got that ancient DCL bust.

Probably to give the character closure. Franks was that characters creator. But, Franks ended up being driven out. IIRC the character did have a lot planned for her future. The intention being to give the players something to engage with if they decided to go rival Kas.
