I think that came up a few times on the fenforums. Basically it's half nobody on the dev teams feels comfortable writing that type of stuff and another half is fear patreon will get salty if they find out. I get the first one even if the roundabout consent thing is fucking weird, can't expect everyone take inspiration from the Taimanin series. But the patreon excuse is flimsy for the things I and others have complained about ad nauseum.

As weird the excuse is, the first concern is pretty valid. As much as people are uncomfortable writing it people are equally uncomfortable reading it. Still, they're the ones that dug themselves into this proverbial hole by having every loss have to end in sex.
Plus it's probably not just patreon, I'm certain 90% of their main playerbase would get triggered to the bone and drop the game entirely so it's a no brainer.

In the early days of Coc2 development, Savin stated that CoC1 Champ is canonically a feminine futa, the excuse being that majority of the players were playing as feminine futas. But we all know the real reason - Savin loves dickgirls and defaulting Champ to being a futa is the easiest cop-out which requires the least amount of work.

I find it pretty weird. But if I have a straight ass character, and then all of a sudden, he's gone to get fucked by some guy or dickgirl n loveing it without any protest, then....hard to disagree. Besides, that never stopped any gooner from playing most other games that have been extremely successful like Black Souls or the mentioned Taimanin series or Rance.
