That requires good writing and understanding the players. Which requires common sense and an uninflated ego. Most of these guys spend too much time thinking about how cool and neat their ideas are in their heads instead of asking others for their opinions and accepting constructive criticism.

The major problem with Tobs is that his actions slings shit at everyone. Not just the people he didn't like. So a new person getting coc2, getting the amulet and getting really into the story, kinu and Kiyoko, only to bring them to the fox den and get treated like absolute crap have no say in his/her daughter getting instantly married when they are freed, then dealing with events that put her in danger but no-one allows them to help. That is a event that can easily lead to people regretting even getting the game. Taking away any new money and causing unnecessary resentment. All for what? A petty disbute about fetishes in the porn fetish game?


It's a problem, and it's unnecessarily spiteful. To a small minority who wanted Incest. Shit leaves a emotional scar, because I keep getting pissed off just thinking about it. I wasn't apart of the incest crowd and didn't want to fuck Kinu or any of that crap. I just wanted to be a supportive father in her life and I'm punished for something I had no part of. Until this wrong is righted, there will be more people like me. The issue will never lie because there is clear injustice.

Yeah, honestly if I did not headcanon most of this shit I wouldn't be able to play it. But that's a lot of games with good smut but mid or lower story. I'm surprised by how little it actually bothers me. I really appreciate the corruption aspect, and that is what made me enjoy the original game. It's wasn't just about corrupting them it was about shaping them into being dependant and subservient to you. And you can headcanon the why's and hows. I always had a thing for evil playthroughs, why still being generally nice person to certain party members I liked.

I never personally liked how coc2 is like "if you re 100% corrupt, you are going to be turned into a demon." That wasn't true for first game you can be corrupt and still keep your soul. Maybe not your humanity, but the ending implied how you managed to extend your life and actually use the corruption smartly to win wars and force people to surrender.

If not for all your babies turning into imps I think it would be a neat game mechanic to see how playing as a demon would be like. It could be similar to being a goo person in TiTs where you can modify your body shape from height, weight, how many legs, how you walk, how many gentials and what type they were. It gave you a lot of options. But you had to have goo fluids to do it.

Playing as a demon who is not Kasyrra's onahole would be fun because it would be a real difference from playing as the champion, otherwise it would be like the same but with demon parts

I think soooome of the homogenized fetishism comes down to how easily offended people are, and all the different kinds of copyright and libel laws and ToS concerns- you can't push boundaries or do anything too spicy while still charging for the game. All it takes is one crazy dude taking offense to get your project taken down off of whatever sites or services you were relying on to host it during it's development. But a large chunk of it is probably just laziness, people will pay for slop so there's no reason to provide anything more than penis-in-vagina-on-loop.

There are definitely more ways to play out power dynamics than what's on display in CoC2 though. It's very blunt and lazy about it, but I think there's nothing wrong with that kind of fetish on a conceptual level. It just needed so much more. They're serving you up an unflavored side dish for your entire meal. There needs to be more food (contexts) on the plate, more seasonings (actual emotional payoffs and investments for the players), more nutritional value (I'm losing track of this metaphor-)

Point is, DomSub whatever should probably be an added meaty layer to scenes, not the entirety of every scene.
Throw on something cool and crisp like a slice of physical intimacy, top that with something spicy like incest, give it a pinch of complexity with a dash of regret/doubt/shame, and obviously lots of player choice to customize the friggin' meal how they like it. Hold the onions, extra tomatoes.

Creativity is dying, the end of small forums, the concentration of internet denizens into specific platforms that are both neutered and invaded by bots is a disaster. Western games devs suffer from that and also, are part of that problem. There's a huge dude in the hills who is the leader of the mercenaries and a chosen one of the gods (one god, can't remember which one), anyway he trained for a lot of years and became super op, could punch demons into nothingness but won't do it because he's also insane, I mean, motherfucker just ran away leaving everyone behind and his stalking randoms at the hills, he probably smells too, weird guy

Then one of the kitsunes, in one of the bad endings while raiding their tree of racial purity defeats and capture the champion (the gilf's grandson I think, you know which one, the one who was angry his feudal lord didn't sent him on a quest to have his head chopped off which I wish he did), so he wins, you lose and eventually, he purges the demons after turning you into his slutwife and kills Kass and all of that, because they could always to that it seems

I guess evil forces of outer dimension were no match for superior Nippon steel folded one thousand times, which means... my sensei was right!, they totally fear the samurai


And yeah you can kill the rabbit guy or even help him and send him away

He wrote some of the worst and most insulting content in the game in the form of the kitsune, more specifically, Kinu.
He talks in a very obnoxious intellectual know-it-all way to anyone who criticizes him(Well, all the writers do, Tobs just stands at the apex of it... well I'd say Bubs outclasses him, but he's just an asshole) and just looks down on people who don't like his content.

Keep in mind, that the ability to dodge/block Leofric's punch was retroactively added in. Originally, it didn't matter how strong you were, he would always lay your champ on their ass. By the way, Leofric was one of Bubblelord's characters.

Also, the Brienne hobgoblin NTR was sort of, kind of redone. When it was first put in, it was way waaaaaay tonally dark for what CoC II is known for, basically a full on >rape doujin where Brienne is clearly traumatized by it. Wsan blew up in the discord about it as apparently Tobs didn't even tell him about it. It was a real shitshow.

And I know we're already past this, but fuck Bubblelord and his shitty self-insert OCs. I'll happily cuck Quint and Takahiro and Allah willing, Leofric too. Considering Bubs originally wanted Takahiro to cuck us with Kiyoko (Ironically it was Tobs who shut that down). How he spazzed out on the forums about how "Douchebags fuck girls all the time in real life, why are you all angry about my characters fucking random NPCs!?" when people were clowning on the fact that his characters seem to exist in a reverso world where Quint is seducing babes left and right and Taka is having threesomes with Miko and Mai.

He really was by far the worst writer of the entire bunch. He is not missed. Bad worth ethic, bad personality, bad ideas. That's all Bubs contributed.
