Like a recent discussion where I tried to talk somebody into channeling their frustration into a more constructive form so they would be more receptive to it. It doesn't benefit them at all and I really don't know if it will enact any change, but they at least agreed with it on some level.

The example you show is something I distinctly remember due to the probehuntress, who you were quoting, being very difficult to parse what they were saying. probehuntress was not writing they're points well and had multiple grammar and spelling issues and was never engaged with by Savin and was instead flat out insulted and was quoted completely out of context at least once to my memory. The whole debate with probehuntress was even happening due to Savin misrepresenting William in his own fucking forum after he got the boot unceremoniously for being mistreated for years, not being allowed to write what he wanted to write, and William being told anything he did submit wasn't good enough, while the audience was told he didn't submit anything, meanwhile pages upon pages exist for zheng shi all written by William that were not accepted because Savin deemed an empty zheng shi with barely any reason to revisit "feature complete".

Silly me I'm beginning to talk about the mismanagement of a different game here when it makes no sense why rising instances of mismanagement in one game would correlate with consistent mismanagement of another. It's not like the person that has a consistent history of burning bridges with many colleagues in a project he was managing is now managing another project that very quickly burnt a bridge with a writer shortly after taking over as a manager. Hey wait a minute...

They were absolutely involved, it just so happened that a not insignificant portion of them weren't. You're acting like they did it to spite their entire audience and not just the people who were annoying them.

So funny thing with those whole spite projects right, they're aimed at people annoying them right? So why do I also get the kinu/helspawn spite thrown in my face? I never played coc, I started following the game after Kinu was finished and put into the game. I had no way of knowing any of the baggage that the character was intended to spite, yet I am one of the people that has been spited since I would have really liked to roleplay as a father given my inability to be that in real life. It almost feels like adding a spite project to an easily available public project that someone may discover inadvertently spites every audience member even the ones not directly targeted.

I hate to say it but you're not a very good ambassador for either side. You most surely do not represent any portion of our views in regards to savin&co. That isn't to say you need t be as blunt as say B-52 Stratofortress or anyone else here, but you seem to disagree with a lot of fundamental criticisms we have assembled over the years, for example: excessive character bloat with little depth to individual characters, a double standard regarding respect given to writers regarding the characters they wrote, and a distaste for the lack of actual story progression in a game that has a main storyline in favor of either one off content or aforementioned depthless characters. Nor are you adequately being an ambassador for the savin&co camp, being one not directly endorsed by them and two rarely engaging on any actual point presented. Instead you take the stance that they, a paid dev team with over a decade of experience, should be entitled to behave like children, to tantrum whenever something isn't going their way or someone disagrees with them. And that any problem William, Hugs, or Bubble had over the course of the time working with them is completely their fault due to their individual failings, and not that there is even a slight fault for how savin&co treated them. I am not saying that William, Hugs, or Bubble were blameless victims, but that there is a consistent lack of accountability on one side of the conflict. 1+1=2 you can't suddenly change one of those 1s into a 0 and expect 2 to still be the result.

I think I have made my thoughts clear, I will return to lurking for when the salt vein reopens for me to mine it, because all we are mining right now is caustic sulfur and nobody enjoys that smell.

I'm not lumping them together and I fully understand if those people are frustrated. I will go down in history as a legend. At first, I mainly just wanted to mess with them, but I thought maybe if I just spam comments and annoy them I will get something, and so I kept at it dedication is key and well here we are I got what I wanted, and now I am a legend immortalised like Rome.

I'm still confused on how anyone thought that was going to be some type of own. Make a character based off someone out of spite. But don't use their actual name. Somehow forget the fact that the game has a character creator. Giving the person who you're trying to spite. The ability to just make a character with their name. And get the harem. Making the entire thing moot.

So, I'm still rocking the Flame Dagger and replaced the starting Harp with a Fox Jewel in Act 2. What can I replace the Flame Dagger with as a Charmer? I'm only putting my stats into presence, agility, and cunning. I can't equip the Sanctified Gladius cus I haven't bothered lowering the corruption from chugging items to build up the chara's cum cannon.

Man, I've had some glorious moments on this site, like the one time I annoyed BallsDeepWeep so much I got immortalized in stone on their twitter account (which is probably still on my post history, somewhere around there...).

But this? This is a whole other fucking level. I wish I could have this level of notoriety. My hat goes off to you, man. I wish I could put the time into this game but it's fun to just sit here and watch this shitshow. If I actually had any knowledge of its history I might even chime in a bit. From how he spoke on it, they kept kicking and reinviting him into the writers channel and finagling with his permissions. On top of a string of passive aggressive comments about his characters. When he quit he stated that his characters were open season for anybody who wanted to do anything with them.
