Just started this game, and I am pleasantly surprised that the MC actually seems like a legit dude. Protecting the shy girl and not letting himself get manipulated when hiring the blonde girl.

Not saying none of that won't change (I literally just started), but still... Refreshing to see some good character personality so far.
its only up from here

Also, just as an FYI, the Dev is quitting their full time job, and doing dev full time going forward sometime this year. Just some other data for that mental gymnastics. I don't know how much that means they will be focusing on doing dev work, as you can only be creative so many hours in a day, but then again, it might mean faster dev cycles.
I hope you're right.

As for how much difference it makes, I suppose that depends a little on how much time is spent 'creating' and how much 'grinding' away at renders and the like.

Probably also depends on how the dev's brain works...I know that for me, I can only do so much creative stuff before the inspiration kinda drains out of me and I need to look at other things for a while....but I'm told that in many ways, the way I think isn't exactly 'normal'.

since you " Just started this game " maybe you can learn to use the inline spoiler tags as to not spoil it for those who have not played it

If someone comes to this thread without playing the story, reads that specific comment you're addressing, and thinks it is somehow a spoiler, I don't know what to say. Without playing the story, you have no idea who "shy girl" is, there are several blondes, and it's not even a spoiler that the MC would protect Lucy, what else would he do with her? Maybe the people who "have not played it" could...play it?

I think it's kinda common sense that what happens at early updates shouldn't be considered spoilers, no?
Spoilers are for things that happened recently, in my opinion.
Best to just ignore it, they're clearly trolling when the same comment has now been made twice in the past week, the VN is 2 years old now, if you've not even started it yet then you shouldn't be scrolling through the comments complaining about spoilers, it's perfectly normal to be discussing what's happened story wise at this point.

Some people don't seem to have a lot of common sense, I can get people complaining about spoilers on content that hasn't been released on here yet, or has just been dropped, although I still partially blame that on the user, if you know an update has just dropped for something you probably shouldn't be browsing the forum anyway although spoilers should be common courtesy, but if the VN has been around as long as this and you've chose not to read it yet, and then chose to read through the thread, you've no right to complain about spoilers, the problem is solely yours.

I sometimes wish people use spoilers more, because there are times that a game get updated and I can't play for a few days but still read the thread. However, even so I know it's totally on me... :ROFLMAO:

Yeah if I go into a thread I know I can get spoiled in and it happens, I just accept my fate. Not like any spoiler in an AVN would be monumental: at worst, it's some type of betrayal or a family revelation.

Even if they use them I'm clicking to see what they wrote... I also don't mind spoilers.

Broadly, I think that if you read a thread of a game you aren't up to date with, then it's mostly on you. I'd like to think people would use spoilers as a courtesy to others with recent updates, but as I said, I'd consider that a courtesy, not a requirement.

That said, discussion of spoilers here with Cosy Cafe currently should be less to do with the first few days (the shy girl and the blonde girl) as the last update...OK. it seems most of us have seen and played it, but I don't think it's been released publicly yet, so there are, presumably, quite a number of people who haven't.

So if we're discussing spoiler use, then I think any discussion should be more about 'should we have been hiding away discussion on updates between their patreon release and their public release?'

Of course, if we did that, I imagine most of the last twenty(?) pages or so would be tagged that way, which seems...excessive.

The MC's protectiveness of the girls is one of my biggest draws. It is a consistent theme and is definitely a breathe of fresh air compared to most VNs.

I dont mind Spoilers - and if i think about one or two VNs that i played in the past, where a non-avoidable drama like the death of a LI happend, i would have glady read the Spoiler to avoid it. Thats also the Reason why i wouldnt play a Game of that Dev again - i cant "trust" him with the Stories anymore.

I play Games / AVNs to have a good Time - i dont mind some minor Drama that is solved quickly - but Drama for Dramas sake alone just to have a "Oh no he didnt"-Effect is cheap. But i got Sidetracked here.

But I do understand that there are People who dont like Spoilers.
