I guess if I must play through the game all over again I will ! OH the horror of it all ! LMAO
Glad you liked it! The photo gallery is very buggy right now, but when it's fixed it does show all of the photos taken throughout the game (they do all retroactively unlock when you hit the afterword, too). And a delete option for saves is on the to-do list.Finished the update, thanks for your fantastic work as usual. If I may, a couple of questions/suggestions:
- There is only one photo in the gallery, is this intended? Will you consider to "retroadd" pics like the Catherine selfies and the princess photo in 0.11 update to it? There may be also more that I forget. [SAW THIS QUESTION WAS ANSWERED IN PREVIOUS COMMENTS]
- I'd appreciate a lot an option to delete saves in the save menu.
- I appreciate the bios revamp, but the character backgrounds seem a bit random. I think it would have helped to make characters from the same family with the same ones, or to group them in a sort of way that immediately tells the faction they are in.
All of this is nitpicks though, you're doing a fantastic job so thanks again for the update.
Lucy left a toxic abusive relationship for a dependency on MC, for sure. but MC doesn't take advantage of it or abuse it at all. instead, he uses it to push her towards who she can be, to bloom and grow into an incredible woman at her own pace. and by the end, that dependency will be gone.I will say, Lucy's story gives me a nagging feeling in the back of my head, like it borders on problematic. Is she wanting this or does she feel like she has to do it. Which I am not saying that her as a LI is bad or her story is bad, more just makes me think is all. I doubt I could navigate that type of a relationship... I'd always feel like I was taking advantage of the person. But that is part of the appeal, there is a bit more to the characters then what I might have initially thought and is
there are hints that she has a rape fantasy too.Rachel is just misguided. She actually wanted the attention from the MC but because she doesn't believe she can get it, she decides to look down on the whole situation so she can feel less bad about being left out. In the end, she just wants love. We all do.
I think there are some hints that she secretly wants to participate. She may not even be aware of that desire on a conscious level, but I think slowly she will realize it and we will get to watch her transform. I very much look forward to it. The more the merrier!
She is already. MC pushes her to lead since the beginning, and every girl defers to MC's judgement, but also respects Lucy enough to not abuse her power, given her personality, and to lead them for the family's and MC's best interests. how that will turn into a firm hand to guide the family against their rivals in the future will be interesting.I can see her as being the mistress of the house
she was explicitly told she can say no and quit at any time twice already. it's only as harsh as she can take it because she is so stubborn and proudThe one that gives me pause is Catherine. I confess his treatment feels harsh sometimes. And I like her pluck.
yes, it's one of the most supported theory in this thread for the ticket book's fateI was thinking it was a possibility before, but am pretty sure Rachel was the one who stole the ticket book now. Since it's probably not a rando, and the rest of the non-Fletcher's characters wouldn't have the opportunity to handle it. Plus the fact that she's the only character we've met that has had their access to Fletcher's revoked. This is probably old and well discussed but I haven't been active in the forums in a bit.
I think I remember seeing that being discussed several times a few updates back. Annabelle seems to be on a "maybe" listAny chance we could/will be moving characters from the "side" category to "main"? I quite like Annabelle. She's gorgeous, and I love her white hair.
they both engaged in the same circles and were forced to attend. they both grew up as rebellious teens, even if Alison did it years before. So they naturally grew to get closer even with the age gap, compared to all the two faced manipulators and sycophants they were forced to socialize with.I did notice something odd about ages that wasn't Annabelle.
Elizabeth Russell is listed as 20. Yet Alison notes that they're kinda friends and have been acquainted for awhile. Alison is 27. That seems an implausible spread. I would've pegged Elizabeth as closer to her age, maybe 25 at least.
would only be easy work for kinetic VNs. as it's just a jump to the new update label. If every VN can give players options to skip to the newest update content at the game start like this one, then saves compatibility won't be a problem.
yeap its one of the few VN that make me have a stupid smile when playing...Easily one of my favourite games on this site. Sure it's more story than game but it's just so good. Normally if an early release makes me replay from the beginning I just skip through everything but with this I couldn't help but stop to read. No stupid spelling and grammar errors to distract me. Just the right mix of intrigue and nonsensical H game plot. Decent BGM. Terrifically named. Must buy when it releases. Keep it up Cosy!
Damn, I hope not, I very much prefer more Cosy Cafe content instead of a weird spin-off xDCosy Creator any plans to do a (more comedic) side story to the Takamura family? Like Mr Takamura slice-of-life content where he heard of the reopening of Fletchers Café? I can only imagine how hilarious the inner thoughts are and how he would handle different customer.
"Hah! You think this soup bad? My daughter is genius. Try another soup now for free and come tomorrow with friends. Tell them this is good restaurant. Not like my rival. He only beginner!"
Imagine it something as a dessert after the story or something more of an intermezzo to have a light-hearted comedy episode inbetween. I would not want to see Mr Takamura rant about his little bean being the tool of creation of future genius chefsDamn, I hope not, I very much prefer more Cosy Cafe content instead of a weird spin-off xD
But I imagine the Takamuras will be the focus on a future update, we still have unfinished business with Mr Takamura and that cooking competition we did...Imagine it something as a dessert after the story or something more of an intermezzo to have a light-hearted comedy episode inbetween. Well... there is still a 2nd daughter to be claimed from him... xPBut I imagine the Takamuras will be the focus on a future update, we still have unfinished business with Mr Takamura and that cooking competition we did...
I haven't played or even downloaded it yet......Side stories have come up a few times, and my general position is that they're quite unlikely. While I'm working on Cosy Cafe, I feel like my time would be better spent focusing on main game content. And then whenever Cosy Cafe is finally finished, I'm gonna want to give my all to my next project; which I would hope with everything I've learned will be even better than this one.
Cosy is British & over here age of consent for sex is 16, it only rises for Sodomy which is 21.There is something that strikes me when I saw the bios. Lily is 35. her husband is 20 years older than her. but Sarah is 18. so she was pregnant at 16, and gave birth at 17. She was a minor when she became a mother. But if she was a political marriage, from Hannah's experience, I thought Lily should have been a full adult after graduation at least before getting married or knocked up. So, was it a power play ? was it political ? or maybe she made a mistake at a young age, and Mr Hamilton saved her, and Sarah is not a true Hamilton by blood ? that could explain why she is so different and ostracized from the family. And honestly, Sarah looks more like a young Alison... she has all the traits of the Gilbert family, even her personality.
