it's easy. after she discovered pancakes and taste their power that it given to her by them, she must be fed by daily dosage. otherwise she becomes Lucy The World Eater. so to prevent this disaster MC provides pancakes every time she demands it

I am, however, far enough in to give you my usual very brief early teaser: this one is gonna be a monumental update! I haven't done one quite like this before, so I'm very excited for it - there's a lot happening story wise, and a tonne of fun/emotional character moments. Especially with Vicky and Lucy, who some of you have been wanting more from recently... I think that's suitably vague, hopefully I haven't given anything away with that!

I have to say, one of the things I like most about this VN is the fact that the MC gives his GFs in the harem a lot of power in the relationship. You rarely see any talk about the females able to deny new women joining. MC also makes sure the women know they can say no at any time to anything. The fact he even at times tells them all this before they join so they can be fully informed is nice and shows some real respect to them.

So yeah, this ain't a 4 star game. Bare minimum, it's a bloated 2.5. Not sorry for speaking like it is.

You didn't like it and that's ok, but from some of your complaints you should check first the Developer notes here to know what to expect:

Gameplay
Cosy Cafe is more story than game, with choices mostly limited to interaction in sexual encounters. Expect a slice of life story with drama here and there, plenty of cute girls to make yours, and relationships that develop over time.

And on that premise this game truly delivers.

Just because a game has a kink you don't like, or is missing one that you like, that doesn't mean the game is shit, either accept it and continue playing or don't bother playing then.

I've seen plenty of sloppy games or low effort games in this page that may deserve that 2.5 rating, but this is not one of them.

Most of the so called games on this site give very limited choice, as they are kinetic novels and not games. I happen to like kinetic novels of which this is a good wholesome example so not a problem for me. You either need to play a different game although cant think of one with the amount of choice you would like, would probably take a development team a couple of lifetimes to produce. Or for the sort of choice you would like go outside, take a chance and talk to girls. Play the ultimate totally original game.

Oh, I certainly can think of a couple. Fantastic games. With a development cycle of 1 in-game day per year. And optional remaster after four to five years, erasing any hope finishing the story in this decade. Fuck this, I love my kinetic novels.

Verily, at what point did I say I hate this game? It's truly amusing when people take a complaint or an opinion literally. Not once did I say I hated this game. It does cater to my tastes somewhat. Yet again, early in the game we get some measure and illusion of choice before being paraded with a text wall without any choice at all.

Would I love to slap the ever loving shit out of Rachel when presented? Absofuckinglutely. But we can't.
Would I love to convince the gals not to go on the pill and let it all ride? Again, yes. But we can't.

And again, the story itself is more run of the mill and bland and far too repeative daily other than a minor event here and there.

So to say that this game is the seconded coming of Eternum or whatever 4.5 star equalivant or better, tis a most humourous, verily. It's moderately enjoyable and run of the mill at best, more so carried by the visuals.
