well you don't have to wait... you could just do a run now and then again when the release schedule is announced.Oh come on, guys! Quit reminding me that the update isn't out yet! I have been trying (and basically just about failing) to resist getting myself all hyped for it for weeks now. I am this close to relapsing and binging hard on this game. I have to hold out until the update is out though...

Did a full run two weeks ago, now I'm just going over the most recent events; mainly from Misaki's realization to the Sarah cosplay girlfriend sleepoverwith the new update so close its time again...

I think there are like 1 or 2 choices in the whole game, and that includes picking your name. So just sit down and enjoy the ride.Does it have a walkthrough mod or something??
Funnily enough, this is the one and only porn game that I don't play for the erotic action. Sure, the scenes are undeniably well-made (much like every other aspect I can think of regarding the game) but they just don't "do it for me" so to speak. It is almost no nut November .. got get that stamina ....
Mal has it right. No, no, young man! You should have blown it on hookers, whiskey, and cigars! I speak from experience.![]()
Depends on the scenes in CC personally, I am not into much kinky stuff, so anything too aggressive, doesn't do it for me. I do really like the story however.Funnily enough, this is the one and only porn game that I don't play for the erotic action. Well, if you account for the fact that his surname gave him a huge boost of popularity then it's not that silly. He also mentions that he isn't loaded with cash so can't really complain about that too. Imo this this game still wins with most VNs when it comes to not rushing relationships and the story itself. But it also reminded me that it took the MC not even an in-game month to get to where he is now, which is kind of silly. I guess the upcoming timeskip might be a good thing, to make some of the pacing make sense again.
I'm not even talking about the founding family stuff. I do think some of that is silly as well - for reasons I'll expound when I've reached them in my replay and they're fresher in my mind - but that's not really what I'm on about. I'm more referring to the fact that by his 11th day in town he's got a girlfriend who openly offers to let him date others, another girl practically begging to be slapped in chains, and a third sitting in his lap and licking his face. That's only mentioning the more sustained relationships he has, too, not things like fooling around with his teacher or flirting with the headmistress.Well, if you account for the fact that his surname gave him a huge boost of popularity then it's not that silly. I think you're right if you're measuring against the real world, but I also think a certain amount of suspension of disbelief is necessary to make the genre work. Personally I don't think that the story experience would have been improved by significantly slowing the progression down. In fact, I think it would risk becoming tedious, as the main theme of the story is the whole found-family thing, and writing six months of regular daily life as they slowly grow into that, as would be realistic, wouldn't be a particularly interesting read.I'm not even talking about the founding family stuff. Skip forward about two weeks and the girlfriend count is up to four, with a half dozen other girls waiting in the wings - including aforementioned teacher and headmistress. Now, don't get me wrong, I understand the desire to go day by day for this part of the game and I think the progression of the girls has mostly been done pretty well so far, but I think we'd all agree that that's moving pretty fast. Hell, Cosy himself has mentioned that when talking about the newer girls like Hannah and Catherine. The game is certainly enjoyable, but I do think in-world pacing has been one of its big weak points.
It's definitely one of my bigger gripes with harem games as a whole, when they jump the gun in the harem part itself and every girl is just willing to join a one-sided open relationship from the jump. I'm glad that that slowed down for sure. The relationships mostly feel pretty natural - the biggest issue was Akatsuki, before the whole reveal thing - but the timing of them doesn't, at least for the first few. Maybe that's just me, but it's something I've thought since I started playing the game.
I agree; the pacing from the perspective of the reader does work pretty well, for the most part. Victoria is perhaps a little too quick in her transition from bully to lover, but that's probably the most egregious example and the rest aren't nearly so bad. It's a tricky balancing act - the minute everyday details of getting settled and opening the cafe, as well as learning about the MC's heritage, make daily storytelling a sensible path, but at the same time it's unrealistic for relationships to progress so fast. On the other hand, if every day of the story was one week in game, we'd already have experienced half a year and probably would have had to skip over certain intricacies that really make the world tick. I don't envy you having to strike that balance.I think you're right if you're measuring against the real world, but I also think a certain amount of suspension of disbelief is necessary to make the genre work. Having said that, if I were to do it again I would certainly devote more time to going into more depth with Lucy and Vicky's early story - things like the Lucy mother arc I think could be much more impactful if I wrote them now.
