About the servant thing: There is no extreme femdom, humiliation, spineless slave MC behavior, etc. If that's what troubled you, I myself despise that beta bullshit too. She treats MC as equal, depends on him in a lot of things, and most of all, she appreciates him. MC by himself is his own person, and his personality goes way deeper than being a servant to mistress. And in general, there are no servant/slave roles between them. They are a team. They made a pact between them, a magical ritual to create an unbroken alliance and to resurrect MC from the dead, nothing more, nothing less. So I recommend you try one more time. I myself waited until the previous update to finally play the game and didn't expect much in the beginning, but after 30 minutes, I was very pleasantly surprised by everything that game presented to me.

Main problem for me was the setting of the game. The only reason for mc's existence is so he can serve the witch untill she fulfills her goal of killing her sister. MC didn't seem to have any goals, ambitions or desires (except for getting his dick wet obviously). Basically a glorified sidekick renamed from servant to "champion".
Usually getting their dick wet alone wouldn't be a bad motivation for me if the setting was something more light-hearted, but this seemed more on the serious side of things so i expected some more reasons to get attached to a game and characters.
Overall the impression i got from the prologue is that it just didn't seem like something i'd like the way it was going, and there's nothing wrong with that. Not everything has to be for everybody.

Well, I will try to answer shortly and without major spoilers. MC and his life before death were interconnected to some extent with the main characters of the story; he only has foggy memories and visions about it, but going further in the story, you can see that there is even more to it. MC has his own motivation and reasons to pursue FMC's goal. A lot of said words and characters deeds have real reasons behind them. There is a significant reason why it was MC who was resurrected and not someone else. Anyway, the game is still only halfway in the development, so a lot of things are still unanswered/unclear, but while playing, I sincerely enjoyed how the story revealed itself, and a lot of things became clearer in the story and characters behavior. Will add from myself that storywise this game is one of the top 1% of the adult games industry on account of storytelling, personally for me, of course)

I suppose that is way more interseting than what i concluded from prologue. I just thought mc gets resurrected to be a sidekick in somebody else's (the witch & her sister) story.
