That sounds low key wholesome. Does it have that sort if intimate/affectionate vibe then? That's the kind of game we need more of if so. We always get one extreme of m/f domination or the other and anything between usually has every other fetish under the sun hurled in at the same time. She treats MC as equal, depends on him in a lot of things, and most of all, she appreciates him. MC by himself is his own person, and his personality goes way deeper than being a servant to mistress. And in general, there are no servant/slave roles between them. They are a team.
Extremes are easy to come up with and describe, there's hardly any brainwork involved. But when it comes to moderateness, with its incredible amount of subtle nuance, that's where grief writers fail. So it's not surprising that there's not much of which stuff in AVN (but not in this one). It's also easy to see that not everyone here appreciates the developer's efforts - they want extremes. They want the MC to be an over-pumped testosterone who doesn't talk to the witch, doesn't make deals with her, but grabs her by the hips and fucks her for days on end, otherwise he's a simp and there's femdom. That sounds low key wholesome. True, there's a time and place for two affectionate characters to go to pound town on each other even in a more nuanced game.Extremes are easy to come up with and describe, there's hardly any brainwork involved. It's very refreshing to see someone genuinely appreciate how good the story in this game is. Love it a lot, and I'm very interested to see where the story will go as well.I really love everything about this game. The writing, the characters, the mood, art style, the sex.
If I could ask for anything it would be more lore. I understand that for plot reasons there may be a lot of good reasons to withhold the nature of the MC's past and his connection to the other players but it would be nice to be told more about The Morn and the exorcists we're up against. We're making a lot of bold moves for a cause we don't really understand.
We've come to the conclusion that: 1. Exorcists need to go and 2. We're going to need the help of demons to get it done. But what is the endgame exactly if we achieve our objectives? Are we creating a world where there is no real check against demon domination? I don't really care where it all ends up going, but I'd rather be embodying an MC that at least considers these questions and understands the potential consequences of his decisions.
Are you familiar with the concept of dark fantasy, where there is usually no clear division between good and evil? I guess not.Hey just started playing so I'm not sure if some info is revealed to make this not the case later, but we are clearly the bad guys right? The Exorcists executing demon worshippers that clearly ruin/end the lives of many people around them is obviously a good thing right? Am I crazy for not being on the side of the protagonists or is that what the writer is going for? With the dialogue that has happened so far, it seems like they are trying to convince the player that there are no good sides, which I would say is bs in this case. It's like prohibiting chaos worship harshly in 40k, yeah it gets pretty brutal but its much better than having a hellmouth open and demons invade your lands.
SPOILER WARNING:Are you familiar with the concept of dark fantasy, where there is usually no clear division between good and evil? I guess not.
By the way, the demons in this game have nothing to do with Warhammer or Christian stereotypes, it is a completely different universe. The longer you play, the clearer it becomes.
