This game is awesome! from the gameplay to the animations, the only thing that its kind of a bummer its that the developer re-use enemies, he just change maybe an attack pattern and the animations are the same. The soldiers scientist and alraune could use a gangbang animation tbh. If this enemies has new animations it will be awesome, but oh well. New more enemies and more animations and this will be one of the most perfect games!

Also, bring back the dog please, or some kind of bestiality

Happy new year everyone!

Will it come out to steam?
A steam release is planned for the final version. We will not be doing steam early access.

I'm a little disapointed that the developer changed the ingame animations of the main character and added boots to her instead of beeing nude. For me it kills the extra lewdness that came along. Hopefully there will be an option to undress her in the future.
I don't even know what you mean by this, Alicia's animations have always had partial clothing. There might have been one or two animations that were fully nude, but it was because they were incomplete, and the vast majority of animations in the game have always had partial clothing.

Guys where do we find Alicia's porno?
It was removed from the game and will not be coming back.

Enemy recolors are there because we're a small team, with only 2 full time members (previously only 1 full time member until ~1.5 years ago) and creating several dozen unique enemies is impossible for us. We don't have the resources or time. We need to be able to reuse enemies to create unique and challenging combat encounters. Even if we had more animators and more resources, I wouldn't want to give recolored enemies unique H-scenes - I'd rather put those resources into brand new enemies with unique scenes instead.

We will not ever be adding bestiality back to the game, and it won't be in our future games either. No judgement on those who like it, but it's not content I enjoy creating, and I have no desire to make more of it.

is the end? When I go where he tells me, I find water and I can't do more things.
You're nowhere near the end. You'll know you've reached the end of the demo when you reach a screen that literally says "thanks for playing v0.45, this is the end of the demo". We always have an end-of-demo screen like that so there's no uncertainty about whether or not you've reached the end.

i found a room that you can get stuck in.
after you get the downward slam attack, go left from the crash site and platform your way up to a room with tentacles...like a bunch of them.
if you are like me and good at platforming, you might try to smash attack the tentacles while right on the edge of the little ledge in there, which will give you the little extra height you need to grab the ledge.
up in there is a room with a slope you cannot climb, and a ledge too high to grab with your current upgrades....save before replicating.

Anon42 Great game; I just left a review you might want to take a look at. I had a final thought I wanted to add but I felt it wasn't suited to the review.

I noticed a few ideas/themes that seemed to converge as I played:
Humanity is biologically doomed unless it can somehow change - whether that's reverting back to the past, or moving forward into the unknown.
The creatures and people on this planet are being "corrupted" by some force, entity, or organism.
Fighting isn't necessary. None of the corrupted want to kill, they only want to mate.

I don't know what you have planned going forward, but I had two ideas that I wanted to pass on. The first would probably be the harder of the two to implement at this point, but I think a symbiotic suit or something akin to it would tie the transforming, corrupting nature of the planet into the gameplay itself. The main difficulty would probably be handling it in H-scenes. Naturally I think the best result would be if the suit was visually present at all times, but clothes are already displaced or removed in current H-scenes. Having the suit only appear when it's used, or when moving around in the game world could work. Perhaps an alternate "Masturbation" command could change whether the default H-scene plays out with a foe or an alternate scene that uses the suit somehow?
I noted in my review that I had hoped for a more serious tone like the Metroid games, and depending on how the suit is acquired or manifests itself, this could be a good way to raise the stakes or overall tension without completely walling off the opportunity for the humor between the current Crew. Besides, what's a Metroid game without a cool suit upgrade?

The second could tie into the first, but regardless, it's in regards to the ending of the game: a choice between saving humanity by using whatever is on this planet transforming people to overcome the virus, or "saving" humanity by accepting the planet's corruption and voluntarily spreading it to the rest of mankind. Alicia may make this decision herself, recognizing that most people wouldn't see the reasoning and reject their sole salvation out of fear. Alternatively, she could be convinced of the logic after being completely contaminated from the extended exposure to the planet's mind-altering whatever-the-fuck.

Anyhow, just some ideas. Use 'em if you want, I just think it's cool/hot. Looking forward to how the game turns out.

EDIT: Oh, add some more screenshots! I almost wrote this off entirely until I saw a good review for it elsewhere on the site. Some screenshots of a Lurker, maybe the Alraune CG, or the grapple shot would look good.

I'm not a big fan of bestiality so I'm totally fine with this, but what exactly counts as bestiality? Are alien creatures like the Lurker/Azulisk included or does that just mean nothing similar to real animals?

Overview:
Crisis Point: Extinction is a lewd platformer Metroidvania game in which you play as headstrong military soldier Alicia as she explores a mysterious alien planet.

Set in the not-too-distant future, mankind has finally discovered the secrets to long-distance space travel and, in their haste to explore the stars, are infected with a virus that alters the Y chromosome in developing infants, causing all children to be born female.

As Alicia, you must outwit, outshoot, and outlast the various creatures lurking on and below the planet's surface as she locates survivors and explores deep caves, ancient ruins, alien jungles, and more, all while searching for a cure to save humanity.

there are some areas where we can't reach even with the Debug Mode help. Is there a way to reach it at the moment or is it for a further update? Anyway, I just finished trhe current demo and what a great work there dude! Also, that new idle animation (I don't if it was implemented in the past updates, I just noticed now) is really something else! Can't wait for the final version so I can buy it on Steam, also, if it woudl'nt be too much trouble for your team, would you mind making a censor option so that Streamers can do their job showing everyone your art piece called Crisis Point: Extinction?

Interesting, I haven't run into this myself but I'll look into it. Does this happen all the time when you jump/ledge grab, or only sometimes?

i found a room that you can get stuck in.

Appreciate the report, thank you. I imagine there's probably a few places you can get stuck like this; the slam attack is brand new this update and gives you just a bit more mobility than you would've had before, so some level design is probably broken by it. I'll write that one down on the list of places to fix.

I appreciate all the suggestions, and the kind review :)

As much fun as an alternate suit would be, it's entirely too much for our team to handle at the moment - and having one that only showed during certain animations would just be kinda disappointing imo. We've stuck to upgrades that mostly don't have any appearance changes on Alicia for a reason, it adds a lot of work for hand-crafted pixel art animation.

To respond to some things from your review:
The lighthearted story is very much intentional. We will be hitting some heavier story beats in the near future - the plot is only just ramping up - but you definitely shouldn't go in expecting anything like a Metroid game. Overall, I know what people expect from CPE going into it thanks to the setting and obvious inspirations, and I like upending those expectations rather than doing the obvious thing.

You couldn't be more wrong about the voice actors lol. We list them out on our Patreon page, but only 2 of our actors have multiple roles, and they both only voice 1 main cast member, with their other roles being enemies. I'm not sure why you thought they were all voiced by the same people, but that's absolutely not the case.

I agree completely on the backgrounds, and I desperately want to improve them, but our team only has 2 full time members, and background art isn't either of our strong points unfortunately. We've been doing our best to improve them gradually, and at some point I hope to be able to bring on another full-time member to do background art.

The H-scene crashes are unfortunately something that was introduced recently. I did improve it with this update, but evidently not enough. Rest assured they will be fixed in time, I have no intentions of letting gamebreaking bugs stick around.

I'm not a big fan of bestiality so I'm totally fine with this, but what exactly counts as bestiality? Are alien creatures like the Lurker/Azulisk included or does that just mean nothing similar to real animals?
I don't count any of the enemies in the game right now as bestiality, no. I'm more concerned with real life animals, or things that are very close to them.

There are some areas you cannot reach even with debug, yes - usually things I put there as a reminder to myself on where I want to include alt paths/secrets.
The game does have a toggle in the Video section to turn off sexual content, and I would like that to be a fully streaming-friendly "SFW" version of the game at release - but I should note that I haven't touched that sexual content toggle in quite a while, so there's probably a lot of places right now where it's not actually censoring everything properly. I'll probably either remove the toggle for a while or include a disclaimer with it saying it's not fully censored; keeping the toggle up to date is very difficult with how ingrained all of the sexual content is, and I'll probably wait until the game is near done to focus on that part.

The extra footsteps are pretty much all the time for me. All of the ledges I have hung from have this issues. Another issue i've found is whenever a cutscene has played the jump button has menu navagation sound to it. It may just be me if no one else has encountered this. It might just need to be reinstalled/downloaded again to fix it.

Just to point this out there, if you want to make a SFW version for people to enjoy that's fine but for streaming? Not going to happen. Streaming services put bans on titles and even developers over perceived sexual content whether or not a title in question has it or not.
