I'm sorry? You don't have to have sex to open the red door, you just have to get the blaster upgrade from Birch. Like he says when you open the red doors, when he was installing the capture upgrade, he also upgraded your blaster's security protocols to allow you to open the red doors. He also issues the offer to let Alicia have sex with enemies for research while you're there getting that upgrade, but the two events are unrelated.Could you give me an overview of what happened at the base camp first and why Alicia had sex to open the red door?
I appreciate the kind words, thank you! I'm sorry to hear that Alicia's sex work in the past is an issue for you, but it is canon and it won't be changing. Alicia is canonically not a virgin, not even close, and I'm very pro-sex work - especially considering I'm in that field myself, making a porn game, and I'm friends with (and have immense respect for) a great many people who work in this field. It won't be the only time Alicia's past sex life is brought up either. The demo is great the animations great, and if that reflects the finished product (when it is out) I would say this will be one of the best games of its kind.
Just one thing....please tell me that you won't do the spooky starlets promo a canon thing...(at least for me) it makes the whole deal of "protecting"(for those that are like me and prefer to play the game avoiding getting captured etc) the main character moot...I mean if she litteraly sold her self for money what's the point? one more dick(sorry for being crude) in an ocean of them makes no difference.
If you ask me, there's plenty of reasons to play the game avoiding sex; Alicia is a soldier sent to the planet on a mission, and she takes pride in doing her job well, so fighting those sexual urges and focusing on her mission is very in character for her. There are also multiple points in the game where some dialogue changes based on if you've had lots of sex or mostly avoided it, so you do get occasional acknowledgement for avoiding sex. Canonically speaking though, the reason for that is not that she's "pure" or anything like that, just that she's a soldier and intent on focusing on her mission, if you choose to play it that way.
I understand why you feel the way you do, but I've never had any intention of Alicia being portrayed as a virgin or anything even close to it, so I'm afraid you just won't be able to find that experience in Crisis Point. There are plenty of games that do that, and I want our protagonist to instead be portrayed as a girl who actually has sex and enjoys it, rather than being a pure damsel.
