I'm not a Patreon sub of this creator. Does anyone know if he mentioned anything about a delay or paused payments?
There's some creators that have a long delay but they actually pause payments. Those are the kind that are honorable. Some of the best creators often do because they have a real job that probably makes way more money than Patreon and they genuinely feel burned out or has something else in their life that gets in the way.

Not only has he never once paused a payment when he missed a deadline(he has missed almost every deadline multiple times with a different excuse each round), he once tried to solicit a 10k loan from one of his patrons with a 'promise' to pay them back. So yeah the complete opposite of that. He's been doing this shit for half a decade and it's been getting worse lately, I think he's getting ready to abandon the game soon so he's trying to milk the mouthbreathing paypigs for all their worth before they wise up and start unsubscribing.

Honestly this post from the creator of the game is more depressing than anything.
This game is pretty decent. It's not amazing, I've pointed out a lot of logical inconsistencies with the writing. But regardless it's better than average turd that devs crap out.
The fact that the dev thought this post on Patreon is a good idea is just pathetic. The claims made in the post are intended to mislead and deceive on multiple levels.
a) set interest rate and you can ask for whatever rate? OK why not 50% interest rate? Stupid. Nobody with financial literacy would say shit like this. Go to a loan shark, they'll be happy to charge you 100% interest rate compounded daily. Just sheer nonsense. He doesn't intend to pay anything back that's why he said "you can make up the interest rate."
b) bank won't approve loan? Bullshit. Patreon continues to provide income for many creators including safe for work and legitimate ones. Banks will not ask for what you do, only that they can see money being deposited into your account from Patreon every month.
c) 30000 minimum to buy a house? Shit he doesn't even have a property in mind? He has zero dollars saved from months of Patreon? Why is he talking about a house in order to be rent free like some kind of gurantee? Does he not know even if you completely own a home, you pay property taxes? You pay government every month to own the home. That's the same as rent, just cheaper rent with an appreciable asset that grows faster than investing on stock market mutual funds. That is fundamentally why peope buy homes over renting.

Gotta be honest even if my friends and family ask me for 30k loan to buy a house, I would not give them any. It's pretty widely known that this is the kind of money you loan and never expect to get back. Much less an internet stranger. I mean there's ALOT of stupid people in the world, and let's be honest a lot of Patreon supporters are not that smart themselves across a variety of different creators. I'm just calling out how predatory this behavior was.
