Several ways to tackle that. Easiest is to look at the sets of bytes I patched in the GameAssembly library. One routine patched is for whether to fuss if cheating, the other is to make the "Buy" button think the cost is 0 internally without bothering the actual dataset of items. You can do it live or byte-patch as I did.

Only works on the version it was released for. That was for v0.4 and only from the MEGA link I mentioned in this thread (dunno about OP's). If you started with a clean folder and replaced it and it still doesn't work then you're 99% most likely using Windows and it is in your way. Edit: And will you people fucking read, the buy button will WORK regardless of whether you have money or not. FFS. READ.
Fuschia, FF00FF (max red, max blue). Shader most likely failed to compile. Eg., old graphics card, old driver, or exotic/buggy shader. Number of things it could be. Fuschia is commonly used to catch failed shaders/missing textures because the color stands out so well.
