“Cure My Addiction”
First I thought this is just another generic 3d render model game, so I didn’t give it a chance until recently. After having played version 0.71 with a completion rate of 100 % I’ve got to admit, I was wrong initially.
Although I’m not into femdom, which can be skipped by the way (but there are only a few scenes and since I wanted to see everything, I didn’t skip it), this game really dragged me into it. It’s also not the quite heavy spanking content during the whole play through, since I’m not into it, which kept me playing, but the scenario as a whole, the beautiful setting and nice renders.
The latter differ in quality in my opinion. Emily, the redhead, is done with a superior quality, very realistic, 1 A quality render, the dev must have put a lot of love into it, while the others don’t look as much realistic. Still well done, no doubt, but there is a gap, when you compare the render quality. The others look more artificial concerning skin, faces and body compared to the redhead.
Concerning gameplay, most of the time, you have to be in the right spot at the right time and talk to the npcs. As you continue, you’ll unlock more and more content. Some quests are linked to each other, so you have to check “notebook” and “progression” screen regularly. You can do it without a walkthrough since most of the time the explanations given to you by the game are sufficient. There are small exceptions, where I had to ask around in the forums. Since I didn’t know this game, when I started it and since it’s not yet completed, I feared there were still a lot of bugs or situations, where you’ll find yourself stuck. But to the contrary, this game hasn’t got dead ends, which is a mayor plus of this game. With a little bit more patience and checking the “progression” or “hints” screen, you’ll manage to complete it.
The gameplay has got three main settings so far, which can be described as Yacht 1, Island and Yacht 2. It’s recommended to complete Yacht 1 with 100 %, before advancing to the island and Yacht 2. The new island location after Yacht 1 can be delayed, as much as you need time in order to complete the previous stage of the game. You’ll be able to get back to Yacht 1 from Yacht 2 during dream sequences in order to replay earlier content, which is a nice option of this game, but you won’t be able to finish unfinished quests. So keep that in mind and don’t advance until you’ve got 100 %.
Yacht 1 in my opinion was the most challenging part, players are eager to unlock everything and the specific game design keeps you hooked and playing. The island changes gameplay a little bit, since the player is in charge now and his decisions have got consequences. It’s a nice change, which adds a lot of new opportunities to the game and feels like a reward for the player. You’ll be able to get back to the island from Yacht 2 from time to time in order to unlock other paths. Again, you can’t miss out content, which I really like about this game. Yacht 2 unfortunately is the weakest part of the game so far. The graphics are well done, better than on Yacht 1, but the gameplay itself is rather boring. It seems like every progression unlocks simply by skipping time. Of course you still have to talk to npcs but it feels like as if on rails. I lost a lot of motivation during my playthrough of Yacht 2. Gladly the player is allowed to take a break from this rather unchallenging later part of the game by going back to the island in order to explore different paths.
I still can really recommend “CMA”. It has got some improving potential concerning gameplay on Yacht 2, which feels very passive and concerning render quality gaps between npcs. But those are the only points of criticism so far in my opinion. Have fun and consider to support the dev of this lovely game!
