I don't think it's a good idea to update this thread every time there is a new update.
Knowing the dev's delusional attitude, he will get sidetracked with DRM encryption instead of focusing on content.
Just keep it under the radar and update when there is major milestone.

guys how far this game went is it complete or atleast 90% complete or should i wait a bit more ?
Oh it's around a few decimal places of completion considering the sheer incompetence on the dev and how absolutely petty and pathetic wolfzq is. Maybe around oh, I dunno. 2040 if we're being optimistic? You know what let's say 2050, that's more reasonable.

I'm sure there's more than enough other posts to exposit for you better than I but essentially, Wolfzq ever since he started the development of this game has been nothing but a whiner with too large of an ego and a brain commensurately opposite to match. You already know of course, of the insane levels of DRM he's trying, and failing to implement against pirates, and how instead of focusing on game development he's focusing on encrypting the game instead. Piracy is impossible to stop.

Additionally in his slimy soliloquy of soulless slights subsumed in scummy stupidity, on his patreon you must be a $10 patron to be able to play the game. Making the lower tiers essentially worthless since you're giving him money for no reward. On top of THAT, there are monthly costumes in the game that he's forcing you to pay 15 dollars for to access, around 150 total or more dollars, when it's already in the game. Those costumes are literally just characters from different franchises as a costume for Sofia to wear, such as Nero and Raikou from Fate, Albedo from Overlord, 2B from Nier or Asuna from SAO, putting a price on characters that he didn't make or own.

This game has been in dev for 4 or more years, with updates being as small as 2 bloody pictures, addled with a hodgepodge of game breaking bugs and unimplemented mechanics, poor optimization and coding in general on a game engine that is widely considered easy to use and program for and terrible DRM that only serves to coagulate and detain the project even further. Wolfzq earned the ire of patrons and pirates alike for his incompetency, with good reason. He's the type of dude even AAA corporate predators would revile.

Well, a lot of this is already in the thread, but most likely buried a while back.

Basically wolf takes ANY leak / pirating of their games (mostly CA2, but they're involved with a few projects) very personally. They've ranted in patreon posts about one specific forum member here being some kind of hacking ring leader, since that individual was posting cracks of their DRM copies of CA2. These (IIRC) included some of their many MANY $15/month costume packs (the ones that make up 90% of the released "content" per month).

They've used any cracked CA2 posts to justify taking months off actual content development many times to implement more and "better" DRM, which like all attempts mostly hurt legitimate supporters, since any cracker will disable and /or remove the DRM while the DRM can still fuck up when it's left in / programmed poorly.

I alluded to this before, but much of the "content" they release is the monthly costume packs, which have literally no impact on the game beyond dress up and potential cheaty / overpowered stats (for the one form you can wear them in). These packs are $10-$15 per month (again IIRC, though easy to check, but I'm being lazy here). If you support for a specific month you get that month's pack. But you need to maintain enough support for the patreon to still get access to the game updates.

Lastly, they're honestly not great about the translation of their games. I get having the official English version lag behind a bit, but look at CA1's translation that they call "complete" to see what they do when they're a little lazy about it. Honestly, I feel like they really only care about the Chinese version of their releases, and are money grabbing since an English version being available (if shitty) gets them a lot more money.

Exactly my thoughts. There is so many games that came at the same time of development or much earlier that are already completed. With just added 2 pictures the version jumps into .10 increments. A game will be supported whether there is piracy which will or whatnot it will be depending into the devs efforts and commitment into it. Paying monthly for a game that have no clear direction and tiny incremental updates is bound for ruin. Alibis and are always unlimited

Seems like the game is still just a bug feast. All the game breaking bugs from the first version are still ingame :(

Is he losing patreon supporter at least with his shitty behavior ?
How can you support a guy like that ?
Well, they have a pretty consistent growth in the number of patreon supporters, but like many scummy patreon developers they hide how much money they're actually getting per month. So we really have no idea how much money they're making. Though if you look at the daily stats graph you can see they have a consistent drop at the start of the month then it builds up over the month.

Came to see if there was a cracked Chinese version, but I stayed for something more interesting.

He might be, but there's a reason he's paying more attention to the Chinese version other than the obvious reason that he's Chinese.

Right now I think he's got something of a reputation as a major player in Chinese porn games.

The Chinese are very enthusiastic about 'supporting their own', and the fanbase self-regulates--they lay the shame on really thick for those who want to play for free, and subsequently anyone who facilitates it. There will still be those who do so, of course, but they're very, very quiet about it.

You know, I think I remember why I hated these 2 games. They were dog shit. They didn't explain JACK SHIT. The "Choices" didn't fucking matter, it was literally the illusion of choice. But the game made it seem like you had one? Why? Just DON'T give me an option at all. An example in this game is meeting that guy Owen, and the choice they give you is "Think about it" Or "Reveal Identity", I go with "Think about it" and you know what she does? She JUST REVEALS HER FUCKING IDENTITY. Why give the player a choice?

Not to mention it's a fucking SLAUG to get through and the scenes are never worth it. It's all so fucking boring. I guess the costumes are neat but that's about it. Hell, that IS it.

I respect the opinion if you like this game, but personally after playing 3hrs of this. Its fucking garbage. It's so bottom tier that I don't understand its popularity. But this is one mans take.

While I also really dislike wolf and his practices and absolutely detest that they rival KoD in terms of Content per Update + the time it took to release.

But I always come back to this game because the Art and the Scenes (With that I mean WHAT happens in the scenes. Like the context of how and why some scenes happen) are so fucking good. But at this point I'm willing to wait a few more years until there's enough content to warrant another playthrough.

Because fuck playing through the early game for the 2000th time, fuck Ownens boring as hell storyline(Remember when Wolf said that there will be a way to go to Torres without needing Owens help? God I wish that came true) and all the unskippable flashbacks to CA1.
