i want to hear more about wolf got any more detalis
Well, a lot of this is already in the thread, but most likely buried a while back.
Basically wolf takes ANY leak / pirating of their games (mostly CA2, but they're involved with a few projects) very personally. They've ranted in patreon posts about one specific forum member here being some kind of hacking ring leader, since that individual was posting cracks of their DRM copies of CA2. These (IIRC) included some of their many MANY $15/month costume packs (the ones that make up 90% of the released "content" per month).
They've used any cracked CA2 posts to justify taking months off actual content development many times to implement more and "better" DRM, which like all attempts mostly hurt legitimate supporters, since any cracker will disable and /or remove the DRM while the DRM can still fuck up when it's left in / programmed poorly.
I alluded to this before, but much of the "content" they release is the monthly costume packs, which have literally no impact on the game beyond dress up and potential cheaty / overpowered stats (for the one form you can wear them in). These packs are $10-$15 per month (again IIRC, though easy to check, but I'm being lazy here). If you support for a specific month you get that month's pack. But you need to maintain enough support for the patreon to still get access to the game updates.
Lastly, they're honestly not great about the translation of their games. I get having the official English version lag behind a bit, but look at CA1's translation that they call "complete" to see what they do when they're a little lazy about it. Honestly, I feel like they really only care about the Chinese version of their releases, and are money grabbing since an English version being available (if shitty) gets them a lot more money.
