I don't like making reviews of new games, as they tend to be about a promise of a game rather than what it is. It also means I get to be slightly more nit-picky and disorganized.
Positives
+ The protagonist's model has a bit of a mature/unique edge to her. I can't say I don't respect the boldness to have a short-haired character with facial scars.
+ While an easy excuse, the curse offers a fairly reasonable answer to any question along the lines of "Why is she doing X" or "Why is Y happening".
+ Writing is alright. Putting it as a "positive" might make it seem better than it is but for the most part it does it's job well without hindering the game, with the slightly humorous exception of the description of the game on the first page, which seems to imply a MtF type game (it isn't, MC is female).
Nitpicks Negatives
- Maps are about twice as big as they need to be and fairly bland. I think the town is meant to look like an actual town unlike the usual RPG town with 3 houses but that really only works if one goes all out. Other areas like the mine are just really boring to look at and travel.
- Combat lacks a fast-forward option. I've played a lot of games that let you hold the confirm to speed up or tap shift for similar effects and this game didn't seem to have either of those. Right now it isn't a problem but it's something worth keeping in mind if it does become a bigger thing.
- Pre-curse, there are some moments where an NPC ogles the Protagonist's body and her model looks very shy about it. Except, she's the one walking around in a leather bikini top with plenty of cleavage. I think post-cursed it can be explained but not pre-curse, where she probably should be more on the ticked off side or simply rolling her eyes at it.
While neither positive or negative, 2 out of the 3 current NPCs that have "scenes" are incest-based. Whether this game is ultimately going to be incest-heavy or not is up to the author, and the game support both outcomes, really. But it's worth pointing out.
Overall, It's a decent yet slightly bland start of a game. The premise and set up are simple enough that slapping more content/fetishes/etc should be easier than some other games, making me interested in the game's future. But as of right now, this is a proof-of-concept, and should be treated as such (hence my lack of "available content" criticism).
