Yea, I think a lot of people fundamentally don't understand the meaning of NTR. It's not cuckolding even though a lot of people use those interchangeably. The NTR or Netorare genre is better defined as "cheating" but it doesn't necessarily mean that it's just a girl cheating on her boyfriend or vice versa. It can be any situation where a character has some sort of relationship with another character ( girlfriend, family member, friend, etc. ) and that character starts having feelings for another character. It's basically the act of a character being "taken away" from another character in some way.
For me it's a great genre because it's very hard to do well but when it is, it's usually on the better side of writing as far as adult games go. And that's who I think the genre appeals to. Some people just want to get into a game, get a quick fap and go about their day. Some of us though like a deeper experience where you're more invested in the stories and characters than the actual sex act itself. To each his own but I definitely think the NTR genre gets a lot of unnecessary hate ( at least in the Western world ).

Anyone under 13-14 yea I can understand, that's a child still dependent on their mother. 15-18, yea that's a grey area as those are ages where the child actually should be fighting for their own independence from their mother. 21+ outside of a mental issue, there is no excuse. You should know and understand that both parents are grown and can make their own decisions regardless of whether or not you like them. Which is why majority of NTR for the most part literally don't work and most are ineffective unless they have more to them.

I tend to leave when they turn heated, it's a pointless argument but still can be a fun discussion. Also no nerve struck, I'm just use to people call every civil discussion a argument just because the ones doing it don't agree on the topic being discussed.
Nah, a Strawman is where you pretend the other person is making the argument you wish they was making.
The point is often to to reveal the insufficiency of the player. Trying to coerce a childish jealousy where one doesn't belong. Because feeling terrible because you have an emotional tie that makes you a terrible person makes you feel double terrible. It's kind of an all or nothing stab.

Thing is you built your hypothetical based off what I side, maybe you didn't intend that but that's what it seemed like which was could be construed as a strawman of what I actually said.
Problem is, there is no emotional connection of the player to most the characters in most ntr stories, the amount of time and investment needed or just quality writing needed most just don't have which to me is why the genre fails on its on. D.P. is honestly a good example of this, the player doesn't have time to actually grow attached to any of the characters for the feelings we are suppose to have to happen.
I don't know what squirrel legacy is so I have no comment there
The fact that you have to play this game 3-4 times to get all the ending is terrible .Especially when it's just a fetch game with the only goal is to waste your time .
