VN Ren'Py Completed Dark Neighborhood [Ch. 8 v1.0 Super Gamer] [Psychodelusional]

Killer concept seemingly abandoned at the outset, making much of the intro redundant. Would've preferred to stick to the entity's POV and do something slightly closer to a Sims type thing, though obviously more narrative-driven. The entity has access to the character's thoughts, so where it needs to be, it could be effectively the same as this internal monologue stuff, but also allowing access to multiple perspectives, manipulating them to perform for the entity. That's kind of what I was hoping for. Ah well.

The modeling is so-so (the expressions are quite poorly done) and the lighting is, frankly, awful. Still, there's a fair amount of content, but I'm not sure how much that means in a first release. Depends how much time went into making it.

Well, with it being a Visual Novel, the story is what I read/play them for... The game aspect some visual novels have is just a side aspect to enjoying the novel aspect... Great VN's use the game part to help tell the story part, not usually the other way around... If I just wanted to see some sex, there is an absolute ton of real and animated porn out there to go look at... As well as tons of short porn games that have little to no story, just a bunch of erotic scenes... A visual novel should, at least in my mind, go beyond porn... Tell a well developed story, with good dialogue/monologue, well developed characters, and so on...

Absolutely enjoyed this game, it was sitting on my pc for a while while I played other more familiar updates but now I am wishing that I had got to it sooner. Can't wait for next update and @psychodelusional if you need a play tester/proofreader I would be happy to give you a hand. You will find that while we are primarily a pirate site, several members are involved in many games as coders, artists, proofreaders, testers & translators. I am currently one of the alpha testors of Teacher's Pets.

I don't think you understood the premise completely. The deity is basically a voyeuristic spirit that gets its rocks of by peering into the lives of humans and watching them engage in lewd acts. It exerts it's influence to achieve that end, but ultimately it's goal is voyeurism, not total possession. It has acted toward that end by lowering the inhibitions of everyone in the house and influencing their sexual organs (MC's rocket-launching hard-ons, Mother suddenly lactating like a dairy cow, etc.). Maybe that will change in the future, but for now it wants to line up the dominoes and watch them fall.

It's ultimately up to the dev to decide the pacing and the sexual content, but note that the bolded genre on the Patreon page is "point and click". That implies that prototypical point and click gameplay aspects take primacy. Besides, I felt there was plenty of story for a .1 in the visual novel scenes, as well as in all the little inspect messages if you read them. I'm not sure where you got the impression that it was just sex, there was a lot of scene setting and each character's personality is pretty well fleshed out. MC is your typical underachieving protag who just wants to lead an easy life, Scarlett is a sexually frustrated overbearing older sister, Lilly is an insecure, self-conscious inexperienced younger sister, and Marsha is a stern but protective mother, who doesn't really care to much about what people think about her in a way that renders her somewhat oblivious. You get a good sense of what their dynamic with the MC is from their interactions in the story quests. Not really sure what your specific gripe is with the pacing or story. If you could point out something specific I'm sure it would help the dev and others better understand your points. They're kind of over-generalized, to the point where I'm not even sure if it serves as a meta-level analysis of the VN.

I like a lot of lewd scenes =P. As long as you can weave them into the story properly. There are enough grindy/teasing games out there and the majority of people tend to get frustrated with them as a lot of them feel like "milkers" more than anything. I'd say a game that does pacing pretty well is Dreams of Desire.

the save slot need update to more spaces if you try to play all dialogues and no lose the game or put a Scene library to store the meetings hehehe

I have actually heard that glitch twice now and I can't seem to find a definitive answer as all my variables seem to be in the right place and saving in the prefs but, I am experimenting on converting my game to the renpy engine for ease of use. If that doesn't work out. i'm going to do a final, big bug search and if THAT doesn't work out, i'm just going to commision someone to help me with it.

In the mean time, if you have seen all the content already I have made a cheat build to download where you can access all the lewd scenes including the alt ending here:

This is great, i love the mom son interactions. As a fan of m/s im def waiting for some hot scenes with some hot m/s dialogue. That handjob scene was for me like a warmup. Hopefully, you add some buildup so the climax doesn't feel dull like in some other games.

No, I do get that. What I'm saying is that I initially thought that we would continue to see things from the entity's point of view, more of a detached, third-person narrative (albeit with the entity's ability to look into the characters' minds). But instead, we shifted to a much more traditional path following one character, with them providing the narration, and the entity recedes to being another character. I would have preferred the first option, is all I'm saying.
