I heard its more of a spin-off (said some people on steam). You don't really need to see the anime to ennoy and understand the Games. I never saw or heard of this Anime (before this) to be honest, but right now i have a lot of fun with it. Wait, there was one thing where i heard/saw a char from Date a Live and that was a Kurumi Mod for Skyrim.

How does this work? I mean, I got the game from steam and it "installed" the game on my pc. But here I see extract and play. Does the version you download here not install on your system? Does this use less space on your PC then the steam version?
Or does it make no difference?

that sounds like a general computer question about compressing.
Whenever you see data types like .zip or .rar instead of .exe, .txt or .doc, it means the file was being compressed.
Compressed means, it will take less space in this form, but you can't do anything with it. To use it, you need to unpack / decompress it first.
After it was unpacked, it's going back to how it was before it was compressed, meaning you now got a folder with the game, just like it was installed. Because someone else installed it, compressed the whole thing and uploaded it on the internet.

TL;DR: someone else installed it, and compressed it so it takes less space on the internet. You can download it, but need to unpack it. After you've done that, it's just like if you installed it.

Yeah most people tend to forget that while this is an adult pirating site, sexual content isn't a requirement for stuff to be added. If it gets approved it can be added to the site, like with this. Although this being from if I don't think this has any nudity either (actual nipples and what not), the adult themes of this is well it's a dating sim

That isn't quite the whole picture. I don't know exactly how this game is set up and I don't want to bother looking, but I can tell you generally how/why things are installed. When you run an executable file generally it requires data from other files to function correctly. The exe needs to be told where to look for the files it requires, which can be an issue being that two people may install the exe in completely different locations (example: D drive vs C drive). A lot of installation packages use your windows registry to record where it installed the files that the exe uses. Steam uses it's own built-in file paths (you can relocate your steam library pretty easily without reinstalling your game). This particular game probably has a configuration file that provides local paths for the exe. In response to your questions: the version here does not require installation, and it is probably about the same size as the steam version after extraction. This explanation isn't perfect by any means, but hopefully you get the gist of it.

Easy to fix actually.
I am assuming that you have an older Gpu, or integrated graphics running Windows 7?
This trick allows a DirectX 11+ game - to run on DirectX 10 or 9 hardware.

1 - First see if you have dxcpl.exe ?
Hit the Windows Key + R to get the run box - then type dxcpl - most likely you don't have it?

2 - If not- just download it below - and click on the dxcpl.exe to run the program.

Then enter these setting:

3 - Edit list


4 - Select the games .exe file.


5 - And make sure "None" and "Force WARP" is selected.

6- Run the program.
