The thing with the corruption petals is...what else is there to do? I assume none of the petals will involve other males, so all we have is 1v1 and lesbian stuff. All of that has been done. Public sex? 3-ways? Anal? Been there done that. The only thing I can think of is BDSM and that sort of thing. In theory, corruption petals should gradually escalate. What can be done that hasn't already been done?

What makes even less sense is Jeff Steel has said they may do some light beast content (this was also teased in the ending of the last update). How in the world can you rationalize that content yet eliminate the MMF content?

If I had to guess, they'll backtrack from this decision. It doesn't make sense on any level, and their rationale of freeing up time for Jen/E/G/D content can be made via other ways, as I mentioned here and on the discord.

I would agree with you about having to fill out the paths. Except for one dev who has created his own game and has so many branches it boggles my mind that he keeps it up to date with each chapter update. Yeda Games' Shattered proves that games can be created by just one person and remain true to form. I know Mr. Dots could do this. I just think that having two games in the mix leads to concessions, We are seeing that reality.

I loved DmD right up until the after party and the drug induced who the hell ever it is writer decided to put in the events at the pool and the orgy. I closed the game out never getting to the end because THAT is so far out of any realm of immersion or reality and makes a entire industry look like it was only there for porn. I have have freelanced for photographers editing their photos and none of that would have happened. Those girls would have eye and ears on every move they made and so would the judges right up until they hopped on their planes or boats and left. What the Dots team did would have destroyed those girls entire career and they never would have been able to show their faces in the modeling industry again. you took a "decent" game I am not saying great game and put it straight into the trash bin with that update. Guess I'm not playing chapter 4. This is the issue that comes with paying for a product as it's being made that we've seen throughout even mainstream gaming with things like Star Citizen. The developer can basically do whatever they want after they start getting money since they've already been paid. This is really dirty. Breaking promises like that and alienating a portion of the fanbase that's been around since the beginning. Oh well, after this last update I won't be paying attention to this guys games anymore. Not like I followed the others anyway.

Lol Come on that's such a bad excuse. The game also doesn't say having sex with Elena so it's 100% ok to also remove that then? I guess everything should center only around dates with D since that's the title. There's quite a few things in this game I don't care about (one being Jen) but if they were teased and talked about multiple times I'd say that'd real wack to remove them last minute. No matter what it is I think it's really lame for a dev to tease something and then turn around last second and go "nah I'm good" especially when it's something that's completely optional. That's one of the reasons I like games with branching paths because I can enjoy what I enjoy and another person can enjoy something completely different.
